Only hate the road when you’re missin' home
only know you love her when you let her go
and you let her go
"Baby, what are you doing?" she complained as she tried to wrap her legs around me again. i grunted, pushing them off me as i shoved my shirt on.
"I-i'm sorry, i can't do this right now," i stuttered, jumping off the bed as i walked towards the door.
"Are... are you dumping me?" she whimpered from the bed. my grip on the door handle tightened and i knew i couldn't turn around to answer her.
"i'll see you later."
i ran down the stairs, pulling the door open as i slammed it closed, running towards my car. it was raining, but i honestly couldn't care less if i got wet.
My mind was completely elsewhere while i was driving; causing me to drive into a trashcan.
"god fucking damn it!" i screamed angrily, slamming my palms on the steering wheel. "I fucking hate driving!"
Taking out my phone, i clicked on her contact name, my thumb trailing over the call button...
but i couldn't do it. i couldn't. i clicked on the home button; taking my mind off her for a moment. i had to get home.
but how could i... when home is being with her?
