I wouldn't let go of Jordan. Mason was still fighting D.J. and in the background I could hear someone calling my name. I wouldn't move, my vice-like grip just got tighter as someone came near me. I growled softly.

"Alaina, you need to let go of him, he's okay." Mason called from in the fight. I winced as I heard a snapping bone. I didn't know whether somebody was shifting or just a hard punch to the jaw, but it was a cracking bone that's for sure.

I looked towards the fight in time to see D.J. fall to the floor. I smiled, happy that Mason won the fight. I could feel Jordan stir under my arms. My eyes snapped to him in an instant.

His eyes opened slightly, he opened them fully and blinked. Once, twice, three times then he looked around his eyes landing on me. He scooped me up as I cried again.

He growled over towards D.J. . I hugged him tighter as my tears soaked his shirt. "Thank you for hearing me." I told him, my voice cracking.

"No problem, I would do it any day." he replied. I sniffled as somebody handed me some tissues. I looked up to thank them and my eyes locked on to some gorgeous brown ones.

I licked my dry lips and took the tissue. "Thank you." I said.

"Who the hell are you?" Jordan asked his eyes narrowing.

Sakura walked up to us. "He is our new pack member, Brent. Treat him like how you would treat each other. If he needs help getting around, help him." she said. She had been looking at us and when she saw D.J. on the floor she looked to me.

"What happened?" she growled causing the new kid to flinch back. I reflected back to earlier, I got up and ran into her open arms. She rubbed comforting circles on my back, my BARE back.

My cheeks instantly flushed. I was still only in my black bra and unbuttoned jeans.

"My god," I mumbled "Of course I would be half naked when I meet a new guy." I shook my head and looked down.

I heard everyone chuckle. I had a slight smile myself. I looked back up to Sakura again. "You wanna hear the story?" I asked.

She nodded her head, and so I told her. Every single detail to this point was said.

My cheeks turned pink when I told her about my little make out session with Jordan, and when I told her about D.J. I felt a few stray tears slide down my cheeks.

At the end everybody was growling. I hadn't known that Sammi-Lee came back. When I looked up from the floor I met her teary eyes.

She walked over to me and hugged me as we fell to the floor crying. Her long red hair had some leaves in it. She must've gone for a run.

D.J. twitched, Sammi-Lee let go of me walked over to D.J. And kicked his side. I winced as I heard a rib crack.

"You are a sorry excuse for a mate." she spat.

I heard a gasp and turned to look at Brent.

Sammi-Lee laughed bitterly and turned to him. "Yup," She said "he was my mate. Key word was, he cheated on me, rejected me, broke my heart, led me on, and tried to fuck my best friend." she said counting each thing out on her fingers.

"I'm sorry." I muttered helplessly. "I was so scared, and I didn't know what to do." I sobbed.

She frowned, "It wasn't your fault." she said "It was that jackasses." she pointed to D.J. .

I giggled at her confused expression. I got up and walked over to Brent. I stuck my hand out for him to shake. "Hi my name is Alaina!" I said cheerily. "Hi." he said. He looked at my body appreciatively.

I giggled. "You'll fit in nicely with the guys." I said. He finally shook my hand. My eyes got wide, I shook my head, he felt it too. "But, but-" I said.

I dropped his hand like it burned me. I shook my head twisted on my heel and ran away.
