Konoha High School: Cloud Watching (Sakura Crack Pairings)

Soon enough the weekend came. Shikamaru and I planned on going cloud watching on Saturday. So when Saturday came I got into my comfy wear (comfy wear is Sakuras' way of saying her comfortable clothes).

Shikamaru came to my house in his family car. It was a pretty sweet ride. I said goodbye to my parents and I left. "Hey Shikamaru! Nice ride! It's a Audi A3 Cabriolet 1.4 TFSI, right?" I ask. He nods, "yep. You're good with your cars." I get into his car.

He rolls down the convertible hood down and the wind flows through my hair. We were riding on a lonely freeway but it was nice. I liked to wind going through my hair. It felt refreshing. Soon enough we get to our destination.

"Wow! It looks just like it did in middle school! It's amazing how this place is still beautiful!" I say as I run into the tall grass. I fall back on the grass and I had a soft landing. It was nice. Shikamaru came over and laid down next to me.

"It's so quiet and relaxing here. I just want to stay here forever," I say as I close my eyes. "Hm. Maybe you can. This land isn't owned by anyone. Maybe you could buy it. It's been for sale for longer than before we were around," he says. "Ya. Maybe. But truthfully I don't think I could do that. I don't think I have enough money anyways. I don't even think I could get the money in the future...." I reply.

"Maybe we could both get the money to buy it. We could both save up enough money and then put it together to buy it. I think that'd work," he says. I look over at him. His eyes are closed. He looks so relaxed. "Ya. Maybe. That'd be a great idea," I say as I look back at the clouds, "How about we start tomorrow. I have a job tomorrow. I got a job at Ino's flower shop. They said they needed help. So I thought I'd join in. Ino said she would pay me after every week I work."

"Ya sure. We could do that. And her family knows that clubs are week long on every other week so that's good. I could work for my neighborhood watch. They pay the teenagers money for helping every week as well. Most of the kids in our neighborhood go to our school so that's goo-"

(Sakura fell asleep when he was half way done talking and he hadn't realized it until the end. He looks at her and he looks back at the clouds. He thought to himself, 'If only I could hold her like back then. I always did that but we were kids. It'd be wrong if I di-'. Sakura then puts her head on his chest. He blushes immensely at that. He then puts his arm around her. He closes his eyes and soon he falls asleep too.

(Soon enough, Sakura woke up. But when she woke up, the sun was setting. She looked at Shikamaru and he was still sleeping and holding onto her tightly. She shook him lightly to wake him up).

"Shikamaru. Shikamaru, wake up," I whisper. He didn't quite wake up. He was half asleep. "Hng. Sak..ura...you're so pretty...."

Okay I need to wake him up. "Shikamaru! It's sunset! We need to go home!" He suddenly spazzed out. "Huh?! What?! It's that late already!!!" He looks worried. "What's wrong Shikamaru? It's just sunset," I ask. "My parents said if I didn't come home before sunset, I'd be in big trouble!" Oh shit. I heard his parents can be really strict. And mean.

"We need to get going!" He says. I get up fast. A bit too fast. I got really dizzy. He pulled me to the car and we got in fast. The ride back was a bit long though. He's in deep shit. And it's my fault. "Shikamaru. How about you bring me to your house to let me explain to them what happened. Please. It's my fault you're going to be in trouble. Please," I ask.

"Huh? No. I can't do that. It's not your fault either," he says. "No. It is my fault. If I hadn't fallen asleep on you, we probably would've been back sooner. Please," I say.

We stop at a red light right after I say that. He looks at me. (Shikamaru sees the regret she feels for doing that to him in her eyes. He didn't like it. And he knew that bringing her home would be the only way to get rid of it).

"*sigh* Fine. But I have to bring you home right after you explain. Even if they don't believe in you. Alright?" he says. I nod.

Soon enough we get to his neighborhood gates. Then a security guard comes out of the box. "Ah. Shikamaru. Late again. And I see you've brought a girl home. Are you even aloud to do so?" he asks as he puts a card into a slot.

"Shut up. She's not staying overnight," Shikamaru blushes.

The security gives a good laugh. "Hope you make it out good with your parents! See ya Shikamaru!" he says before we drive off. Soon enough we get to his house. His father was waiting outside his house. He looked pissed until he noticed me. I get out of the car and walk up to him.

"Hello Mr. Nara! I'm sorry he's late! It's my fault! We went to the cloud watching spot we always went to when we were younger and I fell asleep on him. I'm terribly sorry!" I say as I bow down low. "Hmm?" He sounds curious. But then he gave a good hearty laugh.

"Ah! Miss. Haruno! If I had realized it was you he was taking out, I would've not told him come home at a certain time! Please don't worry about it! Anyways, you both came in time for dinner! How about you come in for dinner!" he asks. I looked up. "Sure! Arigato!" I say.

(Sakura goes inside their home and has a great dinner with the Nara family. She usually had basically the same dinner with her family every night. She liked it but she liked a little change. It was nice to eat dinner at a friends house too.

(When dinner was finished, Shikamaru drove Sakura home. It was about 8:00 by the time she got home. She waved goodbye and she went inside her home. 'Now I have to explain to my parents,' she thought to herself. But her parents didn't ask her.

(They said they got a call from Shikamarus' mother. So that was good for her. When she started to relax again she remembered she needed to make a jar to put her money that she was going to use to buy the land.

(The next day she went and worked for Inos' family. It was pretty easy at first but then she had to carry big tree potted plants to the customers cars. It was hard work but it was all worth it. She got ¥40,000 in the end. ¥40,000 is equal to $40, I believe. She put that into her jar when she got home).
