Chapter 82: Meteor Light

"Good morning." Ginger bowed politely, "My name is Ginger Hatsū. I look forward to working with you on this duet project."

He stared at Ginger and examined her from top to bottom, "You..... have grown to become more beautiful than from the first time I had laid my eyes on you."

Ginger blushed slightly, "Ahem.... well that's an interesting way to introduce yourself."

"Excuse me for my rudeness." He stood up and bowed respectfully, "My name is Shion Amakusa. I hope we can create a song that will be blessed by the stars."

"Ahh...." Ginger gave a small nod, "Right...."

After the introductions were finished, Ginger immediately began to work and brainstorm ideas for the duet song.

"Wow~ your ideas are amazing Ginger-san!" Nanami praised her greatly, "It seems like you were prepared for this meeting ahead of time already!"

"Thank you, but it's not much...." Ginger shook her head and glanced over to Shion, "Are you not going to give your opinions for the song?"

"No..." He folded his hands, "I will sing any song that's given to me perfectly. It doesn't matter what my opinions are, so please continue with your conversation."

Ginger and Nanami looked at each other with a dissatisfying expression, "I-I think your ideas also count!" Nanami spoke up, "It's something that you and Ginger-san will be singing together after all.... so...!"

Shion suddenly stood up, "I said that it's fine, didn't I?"

Walking towards the door, he spoke again, "Bring me the song once you've finished writing it."

Nanami and Ginger watched him disappear behind the door as it shut close behind him, "What's up with him...?" Ginger sighed, "He looked excited to be working with me from the start too...."

The next couple days, Shion hasn't come to the rest of the meetings afterwards, so Ginger decided to take action and come over to Raging Entertainment by herself.

"Excuse me miss, may I help you?" The receptionist called out to her

Ginger looked over to the woman and nodded, "Ah, yes. I'm looking for Shion Amakusa, is he in right now?"

"I'm sorry, but all the members of Heavens are out for a music recording session at the moment." She stated, "I'm afraid they won't be back until tonight or so."

"I see...." Ginger thought for a moment, "Then... would it be fine if I stayed here and waited for them to come back?"

"Eh?" The woman looked surprised at her request, "Th-That's fine but...."

Ginger gave a small nod towards her, "Okay then, I'll be staying in the waiting room. If Amakusa-san comes by later, tell him that I'm here."

"O-Okay...." She watched as Ginger began to walk away

Sitting in a small seat in the corner of the room, she took out her phone and looked at the time, "10 o'clock, huh...." Sighing, she put her phone back in her pocket, "Time for the waiting game."

As seconds, minutes, and hours passed by, Ginger eventually fell asleep while waiting for Shion to come back from his job.

"Ahh, Nagi~" Shion cooed, "Your skin feels just as smooth as a baby~"

Nagi huffed as he tried pushing him away, "Stop pulling my cheeks!"

"You two are the same as ever." Van chuckled

Eiji smiled, "Shion and Nagi are really close aren't they?"

"Yes." Kira spoke up, "They're very close."
