Chapter 15

Thomas's POV:

I look down at Alex's small sleeping frame and smile a little to myself. I stand up and carry her upstairs to my room and go to lay her down but stop noticing a small mark on her arm peeking out from under her sleeve. I set her down on the bed gently and bite my lip before carefully rolling up her sleeve. I let out a pained sigh as I see the many scars on her arm.

"Alex you promised..." I whisper softly and lay beside her gathering her in my arms crying silently "why? You could have talked to me" I say to no one in particular

"I'm sorry Thomas...." I hear a small voice below me.

I look down to see Alex looking up at me, tears dotting her cheeks.

"You could have said something. Why did you do it?" I ask softly and gently stroke her hair

"Do you just feel sorry for me?" She asks avoiding my question

"Of course not. I feel bad but I really do care about you. More than anything I've ever loved" I reply honestly. I didn't know why she was asking me but I answered her anyways.

She nods a little and looks away

"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask softly taking her hand

"I was afraid you would be mad..." She whispers her voice cracking.

"I could never be mad at you. Ever. I love you and nothing will ever change that. I promise" I say kissing her forehead softly.

"Okay..." I says quietly "I'm sorry Thomas..." She adds

"It's okay. Just remember I'm always here for you to talk to. okay?" I ask lifting her chin up

"Okay.." She says.

I kiss her softly before pulling back an smiling a little "are you up for a movie?" I ask brushing her hair back

"Yeah" she replies sitting up quietly and rubbing her eyes

I sit up beside her and kiss her cheek before standing up and holding out my arms. She cracks a small smile and wraps her arms around my neck and her legs around my torso. I chuckle and carry her downstairs

"Who's up for movie time?" I ask setting Alex down. All the boys stand up and nod in agreement.

We all pile into the car and since there was only room to seat five, Alex sat on my lap. We soon arrive at the theater and we all get out of the car.

"Who's turn is it to pick the movie?" Colton asks

"Mine" I pipe up grinning

Alex rolls her eyes. "Oh fantastic" she says sarcastically

I laugh "my movie choices are amazing!" I argue pecking her cheek as we walk inside.

Colton instantly stopped looking over a a beautiful young girl who was standing behind the concession area. She had brown hair and puppy dog brown eyes.

I chuckle and nudge Colton's shoulder. "Go talk to her" I say following his gaze

"Why?" He asks turning back to me. "She probably wouldn't be interested in me"

I laugh and roll my eyes "you are in a worldwide famous band. How could she not be interested in you?" I argue

He groans "but... Ugh" he sigh frustrated with not thinking of a reason.

"Are you scared to talk to a girl?" Alex giggles. "Come on. We are harmless" she teases

"Uh huh sure" he says rolling his eyes "fine I'll go talk to her" he mutter and hesitantly walks over to the girl. He smiled to himself of how short she was.

Colton's POV:

What did I get myself in to? I can't talk to girls. I always get way to nervous. I knew all the boys were watching me so I couldn't back out of it.

I walk up to the counter and the girl looks up a bright smile on my face.

"Hi, how can I help you?" She asks sweetly. I swear everything inside me just melted.

"I'm h-hi um I'm uh.." I start off already stuttering. I can't handle myself around pretty girls!

"You're Colton" she giggles quietly

I chuckle and nod rubbing the back of my neck "yeah. W-what's your name?" I ask managing to only stutter a little

"I'm Destiney. And my break is in five minutes in case if you were wondering." She adds smiling widely

I laugh "would you like to come watch a movie with me? I've got my friends with me if that's okay" I say unable to keep my eyes off her

She laughs and nods "hmm let's see. Watching a movie with Midnight Red and Colton the cutest guy in the group?" She grins "I'll pass" she says and bursts out laughing at my reaction. "Yes I would love to" she says smiling. I swear my face was a red as a freaking tomato.

We all walk into the movie theater for Paranormal Activity 5 (Thomas's choice) and sit down as the room goes dark...
