What Just Happened

~ James' Point of View~

"Justin call me after lunch alright, or I can call Melody and ask if you can come. If you want me to?" I said to my brother, impatiently waiting for his reply.

"look I'm still mad at you for meddling in my dating life. Cause all I see is a random boy in my third period asking me to go out. There was actually two of them, but I said yes to Trevor. He's cute and smart and has one hell of a voice he sang to me right before I saw you. And said you sent him to me! Do you know anything about that ?" Justin yelled at me, and I'm still standing here dumbfounded cause I didn't think he was going to say yes.

"Err, yeah sorry about that, wait you said there was two of them who was the other one ? Never mind I don't wanna know but do you want to go or not she might ask Trevor if he wants to go." I said mimicking my brother

"Err, maybe , fine yes, but ask if its OK though i don't want to interfere "

"alright fine I'll call you in ten minutes " I told him as he walked to his car waiting.

After he left I picked my phone out of my pocket and dialed Melody's number which she gave me in second period history.

"hello "

" uh melody? this is James "

"oh hey James where are you, I just got Jessi "

"oh cool, I was just talking to my brother-

"oh perfect! bring him with you cause Trevor wants to go, he told me that he asked him out already"

"uh OK, I'll go get him where do you want to meet at ?"

"the parking lot, look for a yellow Porsche "

"alright see you in five minutes "

"OK bye" and with that she hung up. And now after standing there for two minutes I'm gonna go find my brother. As expected he sitting in the front seat listing to Lady Gaga's I was born this way singing like it was the only thing to save his life. One thing other than looks, me and my brother share are voices a great bond that we have if you ask me.

knock knock

he looks up at me startled, and I laugh. I laugh so hard I didn't even notice that Melody was right next to me. Wait Melody!

"What the hell you scared me "

"Well we saw you laughing I figured I come get you" she said in the most innocent way that I smiled a smile that I know too well.

"ugh really James thats nasty" Also a smile that my brother knows

"what's nasty?" Melody asked

"its just a brother thing " I said

"well alright let's go, Trevor and Jessi are already in the car"

" I call the seat next to Trevor !" Justin yells as he runs to the only other car in the parking lot of the school.

"wow" was all she said until she started walking to the car."wait up, so does everybody leave during lunch around here ?" I asked here completely confused as to why there are no cars here right now.

" yeah, everybody usually leaves right now because we have two hour lunch break. And some people usually stay cuz they want to get extra practice on the dance a dance routine or get more time in the recording studio" She responded as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"oh" Was all I said until we got in the car only to find Trevor and my brother singing the exact same song. A song that I know so well, only cause Justin won't stop playing it in his room in full blast. And don't get me wrong its a good song, but damn. Give me love by Ed Sherran.

"look sorry to interupt but I'm a little hungry." Melody said and they couldn't look even more scared than this. This was just funny."Melody what the hell!" Trevor screamed at Melody, and to top it off Justin look at little embarressed.

"Whatever trevor , hi im Melody I guess we haven't formally met." Melody said to my brother as realization came over me, they haven't met yet."Hi I'm Justin, sorry my brother is a twat."She greeted back. Wait she, yeah she.

"Enough already, Mel were are we going to eat?" Jessi asked a bit irritated."to my house of course I'll call my mom and tell her were saying for lunch and that we have guest." Melody said as she got her out of her bag and called her mom. Next thing I know is that were pulling up to a large house. But it looked so familiar. I was wondering why until Justin spoke.

" We live right down the street!" And that's when it hit me we did just move down the street from here." really I have more rich friends" Jessi sounded slightly amused.

"uggh just what I need for you to live so close to me this is an outrage." Melody said and I looked as shocked as ever."I'm kidding idiot"she said looking directly at me and our eyes staying locked in a gaze so powerful I almost didn't recognize that everyone left the car. "we should go in"

"yeah we should." I said thinking about that look she gave me and wondering. What just happened?
