Prologue

Macy Jackson was never your average girl. She never interacted with her peers. When her famDaily moved into this small town, issues arrosed for her. Remember, she is a shy & smart girl. The only thing that keeps her company is books.

Dawnson Hill is your average bad boy. He runs the town basically. He mostly get into fights because if his problems at home. He always run away from everything.

Everything is about to change for Macy when Dawnson saved her from a group of boys, when she was walking home one night.

From that moment on, she couldn't thank him enough. Even though he worried about his reputation, he just had to admit his feelings for her.

Chapter 1- Moving in the new town.

"Macy, come on we have to get going". My mom calls from downstairs.

Well this is it. We've stayed in Austin everysince I was a child, and now everything was changing. My whole life, my dad's job relocated him & my mom unexpected pregnancy. Being that I am almost 18 years old, I was very upset with the news. Mostly hurt.

When we left the house, I didn't look back. I couldn't, not with the pain I was feeling. As we got into the car I heard a sigh from mother, but I didn't dare too look at her, how could I? I was so tired from packing and we had a long drive to Georgia.

"Wake me, when we are there". I said too my parents. I didn't wait for their response, I closed my eyes instantly.

Dawson's POV

"Dawson get down here right now, I won't ask you again!! ". Yelled his father.

"What do you guys WANT? I came in on time & my car isn't wrecked ". My parents have been on my back about college and other things I've done.

"Dawson we got an call from school that said you were involved in a fight. Do you know what this does to our reputation?"

Only my parents care more about how they look than how their don't is doing. "I don't care about any reputation & the guy was an total buttwhole".

My mother finally spoke up. "Well your grounded, only go too school & come back here".

"Fine, whatever". I was in no mood to argue. I was very pissed off that I found out my "girlfriend" of 3 months, has been cheating on me. That's what the fight was about. So I hurried off too my room. I slammed the door shut. My parents didn't understand me, actually no one did.
