My life has pretty much been a total train wreck since the day I was born. Wait, actually, since the day I started to understand what my parents were saying. My mom, Lalitha, and my dad, Matthew, were pretty strict. I mean, with an Indian background from my mom, it was kind of expected. But not for my little sister, Amanda. In my parents' eyes, she's a perfect little angel. But little do they know. Her boyfriend is a leader of a gang. I mean the gang isn't even a gang it's more of a boy scout group gone rogue, but it's still a gang, right? Oh, who am I kidding? It's actually pretty funny watching them go around with their sagging pants and oversized t-shirts. You know what I don't understand? How this little 16 year old girl, who's 5 years younger than me, can get a boyfriend without our parents knowing, but whenever I go somewhere with a group of friends with 1 guy in it, I get in trouble. It's.. it's... Shi...Mint. Yep, it's shimint, that's the word.
But, anyway, I just finished college and I'm going into pre-med soon, so I'm at home, for now. But, to be honest, I've had enough of my parents yelling at me to get off my as.. donkey and get to work or that I should have been more like my younger sister when I was her age. It gets pretty annoying. So, I've decided to leave, to Minnesota. I know, weird choice, right? But, I found an ad for an apartment there and the owner's looking for a companion so... Here I come, Minnesota! Here I come. So, guys... What did you think? Please tell me if it's good or should I write a different story? Thank you for reading! It means a lot!;)
