Everything is going to be alright

Her angel left too early to even believe it

She didn't have the most precious childhood

She was always told lies by the cruel world

It was hard for her to smile

but she convinced herself

She was told by her closest

that she shouldn't have been born

She thought about it every day

It stabbed her every time

But she just kept thinking

She always tried to change

doing her best just to fit in

She was called disgusting names

Bawling her eyes all over again

but she kept believing

People never looked her way

and she was left alone in a corner

She isn't held close by anyone either

but these little things aren't her worries

because she has confidence

There are always these sleepless nights

where she thinks why it's so unfair

that things keep going downhill

but she always keeps her head high

because she wants to be aware

that everything is going to be alright 

Her friends aren't the best

They never said the nicest things 

They were gone by the time she's down

She struggled so much to stay strong

but she's always prayed

that everything is going to be alright

Suicide might've crossed her mind

Killed inside happened a couple times

but she never tried to hurt herself

or even laying a finger on her skin

because she assumed

that everything is going to be alright

She knows that she can't be selfish

Other people have it worse

She always smiles as she says

she'll be fine take it one day at a time

because she trusts

that everything is going to be alright

She doesn't want people to pity her

She knows that she's everything she needs

She pulls herself together after every fall

Because there's always sunshine after rain

is why she promised to herself

that everything is going to be alright

Everybody is hurting in their own way

By the end of the day never stop smiling

The greatest things in life come for free

so you've got nothing to lose

and I will promise you

that everything is going to be alright
