"Well then! I guess we have our answer!", King Orpheus grinned at Alex.
She grinned back, but on the inside she was beaming. She made it! She proved her mother wrong, and even the thought of it made her giddy inside.
An awkward silence fell over the group. Someone let out an uneasy cough. Orpheus looked around, grinning, unaware of the awkward silence. Only Blade seemed to not mind the silence. He stood with one hand resting on the hilt of his sword, the other hanging by his side. His piercing eyes continued to examine Alex. She raised a questioning eyebrow at him, but he just ignored it.
"Alright!", Orpheus clapped Alex loudly on the back, "Lets get you into some armour!"
Henry and Archer stepped towards them, coming to stand next to Blade.
"We'll escort her, Sir," they accidentally said at the same time.
"Woah!", they synchronized again. Instead of speaking again, they simple high-fived and beamed.
Blade rolled his eyes and snorted in amusement, then walked out the large, wooden door. Noticing that he wouldn't wait for them, the twins scrambled to catch up, dragging Alex along with them.
"Good luck!", King Orpheus called to her with a smirk.
Alex didn't know what he meant until they arrived at the silver door of the weaponry.
