Chapter 1

Kaldur'am's POV

"Tula! I am thrilled to see you here at mount Justice!" I exclaim

"Hello Kaldur! It's good to see you to."

I glance over at Aquaman and Batman discussing what is probably Justice League business before running to the zeta tubes.

"Where is Garth? I assumed you two would..."

"Garth and I are... Taking a break. We needed space so I asked the king if I could join the team here as a way of expanding my knowledge in physical combat."

"Well I think that would be good for you, at least the training and missions...... Let me introduce you to the team."

Tula and I made our way to the kitchen and living room area where the whole team sat. Artemis and Wally were arguing with Robin and Zatana occasionally stepping in. Megann and Conner were watching the news while Rocket was in the kitchen looking for snacks.

I am quick with introductions, and I am greatful that the team is so welcoming.

"And this is Megann..." I start, before She cuts me off staring at the tv screen. She quickly grabs the remote and turns up the volume.

Breaking News: T.V. Star Marie Logan also known as Megan from the cancelled show Hello Megan! Has recently passed away. It all happened when the breaks to her truck broke, causing the truck to fall over a cliff. Her son Garfield Logan is ok, but was witness and now lives in foster care. Megann burst into tears, she stands up and runs for the bioship. The rest of us sit in shock, even Tula. I stand up and follow Megann to the bioship wanting to go for support. As I leave I feel everyone follow.

We quickly make it to the bioship, and find Megann preparing to leave. With tear filled eyes she nods toward us in acknowledgment and thanks before taking off.

"Batman to team. I have an assignment for you since you decided to leave the cave."

"Actually Batman we..." Robin begins before he is cut off.

"I know where you were going. So I'll make this quick. When your team went toe to toe with Luthor, Queen Bee, Sportsmaster, and so on, Luthor and Queen Bee escaped in the madness."

I glance over at Raquel, who begins to grit her teeth, blame herself no doubt for their escape.

" Just yesterday Queen Bee was spotted in Bialya. It appeared to be only a political meeting to the public, but I think that it was just a cover up."

" Do you think she is trying to take over Harjavti's mind again." Wally says lazily not bother by the seriousness of the situation.

"No. I think she went back for revenge on your team. She went back to kill the Logans. Unfortunately we weren't quick enough to put the pieces together and save Marie Logan, but her son Garfield is still in danger. I want you to guard Garfield Logan and arrest Queen Bee. Batman out, good luck team."

We all sucked in a deep breath, mentally preparing for the battle ahead. Out of the corner of my eye I see Robin fill Tula in on all that we have experienced, and it seemed fitting since he has been present on almost every mission since the start.

I also note the Megann has transformed into her human form. Quickly after staring, I glance out the window seeing Bialya come into view.
