( jhopes pov)
I bumped into y/n in the hallway, before I was heading out on a morning walk. She was wearing the cutest pink dress, and her hair was adorable like that. I started blushing. I had only met her yesterday, but I think I'm really starting to like her. We made a bit of small talk, but it was hard to focus when she looked so beautiful.
"I'm going to get breakfast at the donut shop, you can come to if you want" she said. I lit up at her offer. "I should get to know my neighbor after all". She was so pretty, I couldn't refuse the offer. Soon we were walking out the front door, and out to the streets of the city.

We left the apartment building, and I tried to retrace my steps in my head to find the shop. I was pretty sure I was moving in the right direction, so I continued to walk confidentiality.
" hey y/n" j hope asked me. He looked at me dead in the eyes, which made me blush a little.
" yeah" I said with a nervous tone to my voice. He kept looking at me.
" i want to know more about you to" he said. " you seem like a really nice, fun girl. And I'd love to hang out with you more often". My blushing got more intense, and I looked away to hide my red cheeks. I took a deep breath, and calmed down.
" I'd like that two hobi" I said. I jumped after relizing what I said. " I.. I mean.. Jhope!" I was so embarrassed.
" so that's my nickname now" he said, looking up. " hobi, I like it y/n". He laughed." Now I have to come up with something for you". I giggled, and lightly hit him on the arm.
" I've known you for only two days and your already thinking of nicknames for me" I laughed.
" you started it when you called me hobi" he said. We laughed together. " oh, I think that's the shop!" He said, pointing at a sign with the name of the donut store. " delicious donuteria" he said. " hey that's a good name"
" what are you thinking of hobi?!" I asked playfully.
" your new nickname is donut" he said. He poked me on the nose, and I giggled.
" let's just go in and eat already!" I whined cutely.
" whatever you say donut" said Jhope. We walked into the small shop. There were lots of cute round tables, only a few were inhabited by customers. We walked up to the register, and looked at the menu.
" hi, what would you like to order" said the woman at the register.
" I'll have 1 jelly filled donut, and 1 vanilla long John please" I said.
" and for you" she said, facing Jhope.
" I try a pink frosted donut with sprinkles, and 3 small powdered donuts" he said.
" ok that will be $8." She said smiling. I pulled a ten dollar bill out of my purse, and handed it to her. She gave me back my change , and Jhope carried the box of donuts to a table by the window, in the corner of the shop.
" finally time to eat!!" Said Jhope.
" don't be such a pig!" I teased him. " I'm the one who payed for this after all"
" sorry donut" he said. " how can I make it up to you?" He asked playfully, making a pouty face. I laughed.
" so anyways" I said. " how's your life" I asked, not knowing what to say. I started to eat my jelly donut.
" good" Jhope nodded. " I've been single for like 10 months now, so it gets boring sometimes". Yes he's single! I thought. Wait why am I happy about that. Do I like him. I shook those thoughts away. Not right now, focus on talking to hobi.
" what about rapmon? Your roommates right?" I asked. " doesn't he cure your boredom"
" a little, but you can't makeout with your roommate when their dating someone" he laughed.
" rapmons dating someone? Who is she" I asked.
" I don't see her often, so I don't know much about her besides what rapmon says, and he doesn't say much so.." J hope said. " so are you seeing anyone right now?" He asked. He seemed so casual saying that. I shook my head.
" I haven't had a Bf since middle school" I said., blushing. I took a bite of my vanilla long john.
" how?" He asked. " your so pretty y/n". I lightly hit him.
" don't just casually drop a cheesy line like that when we've only known each other for 2 days. I took another bite out of my long john.
" sorry, sorry" Jhope said. " it's true though!" He said. My face went a deeper red.
" oh shut up! Your the cute one here" I said. " now don't say anything back or people will think we're a couple!" I said.
" don't worry about what other people think!" Jhope said. " anyways, I'm fine if they think of us that way!". I nearly chocked on my donut when he said that. He must like me too! I mean not that I like him, I think. I finished the last bite of my donut, and Jhope finished his breakfast to.
" we should probably get going now" I said. Jhope nodded. We threw away our box and napkins, and headed out the door, and began our walk home. " that was fun" I said. " we should do it again sometime"
" yeah" said Jhope. " I'd like that". Then we walked back to the apartments.
