There was still one more class before lunch, that I had with Ashton. He still sat right next to me, and had never mentioned anything about moving his seat. We were waiting for class to start when he spoke, "So when did you decide to do it?"
I shrugged and tried to not look at him, but those fucking hazel eyes were yanking me in.
"Look at me, Parks. When did you decide to give up that moral? When did you decide to put his wants over yourself?"
"I miss him, Ash. I mean, it's mostly his cuddles that I miss but let's pretend I didn't say that."
He chuckled slightly, "So you're going through with it?"
I nodded.
"And this is going to make our little group, a group again?"
"Hopefully."
He breathed out, and hugged me, speaking into my hair, "Just promise me you won't do it if you're uncomfortable."
My head nodded again, but even if it was uncomfortable, I'd still do it. I miss him, so it's worth it.
"Okay, good- is Calum hitting on the new girl, already?"
"Yeah, I started talking to her in English and he snatched her from Luke's seat."
"Let's hope he doesn't break this one, you're friends with her, right?"
"Yes, if he hurts her, I swear to satan, I'l snap his dick so hard that Mikey'll be able to feel it." I groaned out.
Ash chuckled, and the teacher told him to shut up, and class had begun.
Calum's POV *When first meeting Kennedy*
Whoever the fuck Michael was talking to, I wanted to talk to. Two words; fucking gorgeous. I immediately ended the conversation with the dumb chick that was currently trying to get in my pants, to attempt and get into the new girl's pants. Call it twisted, but ever since Michael's popularity has been radiating onto the guys and I, I've been using it. God knows I'm not a virgin anymore, maybe I can help Parker's job with the female of the school population.
I walked up to her, introducing myself with that sweet, innocent smile. Girls really seem to dig the innocence. She smiled right back, saying her name and carrying on a pleasant conversation with her cheeks slightly blushing.
There was no way in hell I wouldn't land her.
Kennedy's POV
There was no way in hell that I'd be going near that toxic boy. Either of them, Calum, nor Michael. I merely asked Michael to get me Calum's number to show him that I'm not interested in Michael, himself. Calum, I'd just have to learn to distance myself from that bright, cheeky smile of his, because someone that sweet who's interested in me? They don't come to me in high school.
Didn't high school sweethearts stop being a thing in the 90's? Whatever, I'm steering clear of those fuckbois.
Parker, on the other hand, could use some friendship. Michael might have stopped messing with her, but I doubt it. Whatever is going on in-between them, I don't even need to know. It's no business of mine, unless she and I get close, which I'd hope to happen because new girls always need friends.

I got through the day just fine, but this Calum guy somehow got my number. I asked for his, and he somehow got mine. Creepy. Ass. Fuckbois.
He was trying to get to know more about me all day, which was annoying because I was clearly trying to avoid him.
Persistent and adorable.
Possibly the worst combination ever.
At lunch, he came up next to Parker and I, tried stealing me away before Parks said muttered something to Calum about "Not ruining this one". He kind of just pouted and walked away. If we're being completely honest here, I wanted to chase after him and hug him, but that's not what happened because this isn't some cute, little love story.
In chemistry, the teacher just happened to be assigning new partners, and he insisted to the teacher that we'd make a good match for the class. Luckily for him, the teacher believed him. Every other day, I'd have to work with him. Great.
While walking home, a car drove by slowly, his face appearing through the opening window, and he said he could give me a ride home. I declined politely, but he said, "It wasn't a question, sweetheart, get in." Externally groaning, I got into the car, internally grinning at the fact that he might be a nice guy.
