-Sheila-I start to jog down the path. My gun is also in the car. I shake my head and growl. "Stop."
I stop and look around. "Who said that?" I ask.
"Me." I look and see a guy standing next to a tree holding a phone. He grins at me. "You just killed an LOS agent, and I got it all on camera. So if you make another step, I'll press this button which will instantly post it on YouTube, FaceBook, and more. So go ahead bitch. Make my day."
I holds up my hands. "Wait, wait, wait, hold up a second. You didn't catch the conversation?" I ask.
He smirks and shakes his head. "Didn't pick up on no sound. Only saw you locking him in a car and watching him drown. By the way I just sent this video to a few of my friends just in case you try something stupid they can still post the video."
I sigh. "What do you want from me? Why are you doing this?"
He laughs. "What I want is for you to back your prissy ass off this case. You're lucky I don't just kill you seeing as how you know too much now thanks to that idiot," he says kicking a rock into the lake. "Its probably good you killed him. He would've outlived his usefulness anyway. Now, back to the point. I want you to tell your superiors that you're done with this case and pretend like you never saw a thing. And remember, just in case you try any tricks we have eyes and ears inside the LOS watching you. Heh. Now that that's over with, you best hope that we never meet again. Goodbye, Detective."
I watch him as he slinks away. He turns back to me one last time and grins. I notice fangs protruding from his mouth.
