Long Time No See

        -Leo-

    I hit the ground with an off. I rub my head and glare up at the tree I had slept in last night. I made sure to get high in case some vamps tried to get me while I was sleeping. My teddy bear lands beside me. I'd won him at a poker game in Hell AKA Oblivion. I'd named him Sir kills-a-lot. Truth be told, I'm actually a little scared of the dark.

        So last night I'd set some leaves on fire as a night light. And slept with Sir Kal. I don't know why Zephyr had insisted that I call Hell, Oblivion. He said he liked the name Oblivion more. I run down to a small puddle where it had rained last night. I splash the water over my face trying to wake up. I look down into the water. My reflection? There isn't one. All I see is the jack'o'lantern faced fire head staring back at me. Even though I'm in my human form.

***** Flashback *****

   "Okay, my little prince. It's time you do some training," Zephyr said. I still remember the night I was cleansed of my past life. I had basically melted right there in front of Zephyr while he reformed me from my puddle of goo. That was how I had been reborn as a demon. "Oh come on. What's the prince of hell need training for?" I shouted. Zephyr shook his head as he walked beside me.

"Oblivion, Leo. It's Oblivion, remember that." He said. "And you need training for the quest that I'm about to send you on." He finishes. I instantly stop walking and turn to look at him. "Quest. What quest? No one said anything about quests." He holds up his hand to silence me. "If you wanna be able to leave Oblivion, you need to complete this quest." I nod. "Well I don't need training."

He shrugs. "Suit yourself. Anyway, I had acquired a lady friend from the surface world. Your world. Recently she was murdered by a group of men. Now, I could go kill them myself, but I have to keep an eye on things down here. So I need you to go kill them for me." I nod. "Okay, I guess. But first, I wanna go talk to my sister. I haven't had a chance to see her yet." He nods, and picks up a phone. "Deal."
