       -Andrew-

I sit down and fall asleep while we watch Elmo. There's no telling when Jacob is gonna be done doing his science shit. I'm ready for the next fight. I got a rush putting down those vamps. Derek and Marcus said that Leo is some kind of Demon now. Maybe I can even gut a demon. I can't wait to find him. Then I'm gonna kill him. For the second time.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna call my best friend. I dial in his number on my phone.

"Hello," comes a voice. Kinda deep.

"Hey, Thomas. Look, man, you gotta check this out. Right now, I'm staying in a suite. How cool is that?"

"What, a suite? Where? I'll come meet you?"

"I'm at the X-corp facility. Look, dude, we're fighting vampires."

"Give me fifteen minutes, and I'll be there."

I hang up the phone and start watching Elmo. My favorite character is Bert. I don't know why, he just is.

Jacob comes back out and calls Sheila to the lab. I sit and tap my feet on the floor, ignoring the stares from the others. Finally the buzzer rings.

"Who's that?" Asks the girl they call Jewel.

"I got it," I say. I buzz Thomas on in, and wait until he walks out the door and into the suite.

"Whoa," he says, looking around. "Nice. Beats a M.G.A. cell."

I grin. "Anything beats a M.G.A. cell." He sits down on another couch and we all sit and wait for Sheila and Jacob to come out.

Finally they come out. "Hello, Thomas," Jacob says, smiling as they walk out.

Thomas frowns. "What!?! How did you-"

"Get used to it," everyone says in unison.

"Okay, everyone. I decided to get back on this case," she says. "But I won't need to go back to the LOS to resume. I've got the perfect team and supplies right here. Anyways. We all have a job to do. So, Andrew, Thomas, and me will go track down those vampires we left on the loose and see if we can get some information out of them. Derek, you and Jewel will go look for Leo. Based on what Jacob has told me, we may need his demonic abilities. So-"

"What about me?" Marcus asks, looking at Sheila eagerly.

She smiles. "I don't really want you in the field. You could get hurt. So your job is to stay back with Jacob and help us via ear coms. Speaking of ear coms-"

As on cue, Jacob walks over and hands each of us these small bud like things. They're so small, you can barely see them. He instructs us to put one of them in our ears. Then he tells us to clip the other one onto one of our teeth. Then he walks into another room.

"Testing, testing, 123. Can you hear me?" His voice comes in everybody's ear. Everyone says yes. He then motions us all into his lab. The place looks spectacular. The wall's lined with a huge supercomputer surrounded by a hunch of different monitors. "I'll be monitoring your progress on these," he says. "Good luck."

At that we all head out of the suite and into the elevator. Derek whistles the Australian National Anthem as we ride down. Finally the doors ding open and we step out.

"Well, goodbye guys," Derek says waving as he and Jewel step off in a different direction. "Okay, you guys. I gotta fix on their location. They're downtown New Typo causing some chaos." Comes Jacob in my ear.

We nod and head off running in that direction. Well, Sheila and Thomas do. Why run when you can fly? So I fly towards the place Jacob is directing me too.

I get there first and see the giant red beasts tossing cars, and bashing windows of buildings. I land on top of an 18 wheeler that's laying on it's side. I crouch down and stare as one of the big brutes comes near me, but doesn't see me. "Hey punk," I call. He snaps his head in my direction and I jump and hit him with a flaming fist.

He falls back and the rest turn their attention to me. One of them growls and begins to smile a very crooked smile. He's bigger than the others and shoves them out of the way as he makes his path towards me. I smirk. "If you're that ugly, I'd hate to see your parents. I bet if you went to an ugly contest, they'd tell you, 'No professionals allowed.'"

He growls and lunges at me. I prepare to move out the way, but the hit never comes. Instead I watch as the beast gets lifted into the air. My best friend Thomas, AKA Two-Ton is in his Cyronite form. He tosses the beast through a bus.

Sheila climbs up beside me and lays a briefcase down. She opens it and removes some jars of chemicals. She mutters to herself as she begins to mix them. The vampires suddenly rush at us. I look at her. "I don't know what you're doing, but I'll buy you some time!!" I shout hopping off the bus, and rushing at the beast in front.
