I smile as I walk out of school and see Mike sitting there leaning against his car. I look around me then run over to him and jump into his arms. He wraps his arms around me and kisses the side of my head. "There's my little high schooler," he says and I roll my eyes.
"I'm your age, Mike. You should be in school as well." I say and he puts me down. He smiles down at me then places a kiss on my lips. I cup his face in my hands and Mike holds onto my waist.
"How long till you have to be home?" he asks and I smile.
"My Dad thinks Maddie and I are hanging out at Ronnie's tonight with Willow. I've got till at least ten." I say and he nods his head then lets go of me and opens the door of the car for me. I wiggle my eyebrows then get in. "Thank you, kind sir," I say and he laughs then shuts the door. I lean back in the seat and pull out my phone. Mike gets into the car and puts his phone in the cup holder.
He turns on some music and I noticed that it was rock. I start to bob my head as I play on my phone then Mike slipped his hand into mine and I turn and look at him. "Does your Dad have any clue?" he asks and I shake my head.
"No. We've only met up twice in the last two weeks," I say and he nods his head.
"Are we ever going to tell him?" he asks and I laugh nodding my head.
"Of course," I say and he nods his head. He grips onto my hand a little tighter then lifts up my hand and kisses it. I smile and him, then lean on the seat and just look at him. He keeps driving but he never lets go of my hand. I run my thumbs over his knuckles and he had the cutest little smile on his face.
A smile that made me smile and filled the car with light. A smile that expressed happiness so clearly it was astounding. I lean over the center console and kiss his cheek. Mike laughs and looks at me out of the corner of his eyes. "You look beautiful today by the way," he says and I feel a blush come to my cheeks as I look down at my hands.
"Thank you," I say with a small smile on my face. Slowly Mike grabs my chin and makes me look him in the eyes. I hadn't noticed that we pulled up to his house till just now. I look into Mike's eyes and see joy clear in the brown orbs.
"Don't hide that beautiful blush from me. It lights up your face and it makes the most genuine smile comes across your face," he says. My blush gets worse and a huge smile goes across his face. He leans in and places a chaste kiss on my lips. I smile at him then he wiggles his eyebrows. I roll my eyes then get out of the car.
Mike gets out of his car as well and we head up to his apartment above his music store. On our way I see Tony and Jaime; Mike's good friends so we stopped to talk for a while. They were cool and took care of the music shop while Mike was busy.
We walk into Mikes apartment then I feel him wrap his arms around my waist from behind me. I laugh as he starts to kiss my neck. "What are you doing?" I ask and he kisses right behind my ear.
"Kissing my girl," he whispers then starts to kiss my neck again. I take in a shaky breath then turn around in his arms and connect my lips with his. I wrap my arms around his neck and his grip on my waist gets tighter. He pulls me closer to him and I gasp giving him the opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth.
I groan as his hands go down to my thighs. He hits the back of my thighs then I jump and wrap my legs around his waist. Mike supports me as he carries me over to the bed and lays me down. Mike crawls on top of me and his hand slightly goes up my shirt.
I pull away from the kiss and grab his hand. "No," I say and he takes a deep breath then nods his head.
"I'm sorry," he says. I nod my head then he leans down and connects our lips again, but this time is wasn't a hungry kiss. It was a kiss that warmed my heart. It was small but meaningful.
