Dear you who's reading this letter,
Unfortunately they don't allow me to send you food because they all take it out in inspection. I wanted to send you candies but instead, here's only a drawing of my favorite sweets! I hope that you know there is someone out there who cares. Whenever you're feeling distraught or sad, read this to cheer up! Do you like cooking? I really love cooking. I know the food in prison doesn't taste so good, and I hope some day you'd be able to taste my meal. Till then,
-S.G.
He chuckled, holding onto the letter that was now crumpled from being read too much. How foolish was he to make a promise with a prisoner who had done god knows what?
When the first letter arrived, he didn't think too much about it, and tried to throw it away. But the letters kept coming weeks after weeks, and what was first annoying turned to anticipation, and he had been looking forward to the shouting of 'Number 362!' To signify he got mail.
He tucked the papers in the little box under his worn out bed. "Lights out!" He heard.
Silver eyes glimmered in the dark, determined with resolve. Im coming to see you.
