"Why can't they understand? What is so wrong with everything I do? Why is it never right?" mumbled Amelia. She paced around her room mumbling different things. Soon, she heard her mother call her from downstairs. "Here we go again," she whispered. When she arrived downstairs, her mother, father, and younger sister all sat around the table laughing and talking about their day. The conversation ceased as she walked up to the table. She knew it would though. Amelia was always the one left out of conversations whether it be between her family or friends.

"What took you so long, Amelia?" asked her mother, Catherine. "She was probably wasting her time on those stupid books she obsesses over," her sister, Sarah, replied sharply. Shawn, Amelia's father, looked up. "Now, Now settle down you all. Can we not have one decent meal together?" "Sorry, Father," replied both girls.

After supper is finished, Amelia heads back to her room. She grabs her diary and starts to write about her day. As she writes, she can hear her family talking from downstairs. "Why won't she do right anymore? It's like she's given up." "She's won't talk to anyone. Amelia has become such an antisocial person."

Upstairs, Amelia thinks to herself, "They wonder why I'm not like I used to be, really? Does no one understand what is going on anymore? Do they not see how every word said to me is nothing doing nothing but crushing any self esteem that I have. Can they not realize it's them that are ruining me? I guess they don't care to see. They think they are to perfect to do anything wrong." As she thinks these thoughts, tears go rolling down her checks.

"Why can't anyone see?" Amelia mumbles.

A/N... okayyy so they will get longer. I figured this would be enough to get it started.🖤 Anyway, I hope you all enjoy.
