It has been almost 4 years long years now. The sun has kept moving, along with the busy people that lay beneath it. Especially the army.

Chess has been awaiting the last day of Nicks term to be over for 4 long years. Each day feels longer and hotter without knowing if Nick is okay or not. It was a living hell as he went to work everyday, knowing he could do absolutely nothing to help him.

Tomorrow. That was the last day of his hell. Then he could see Nick. His Nick...

" Y-You'll come back for me.. right Nick?.. A God can't live without his Scary Biker.."
A small, but weak smile is the only thing keeping Chess from breaking down crying.
He drags his weak legs over to Nicks then wraps his shaky around Nicks middle. He lays his head on Nicks chest as he tries to calm down. A muffled cry is followed by a few tears of fear. He gazes up at nick, his Scary Biker that no one could take away from him. Not even satan himself. He just knew it, and chose to believe it with his entire heart.

The familiar smell of beach and ocean water fills Chess's mind as he remembers the trip Nick took them both on. Chess has never been to a beach before, or after that trip. But he remembers every minute of it. To Nick's smile, or to the crab pinching his finger when he picked it up, and threw it around as he desperately tried to figure out what it is.

Chess brought his camera to the beach so he could take pictures of the scenery, and other things he found interesting. But he ended up mostly taking pictures of Nick. He took one picture of himself and another with him and Nick together. He handed those two pictures to Nick before he left to go to war. " Here you go Nick! It's a picture of me, then that picture of you and me! I thought it you could use them!"
Chess's voice was soft, and shaky as he knew this could possibly be goodbye. But he knew Nick would come back. He wouldn't leave him!

Today. Today was the day he could see Nick. Today was the day, he could take his brave soldier. He could feel it in his small heart. He knew that this Hell is going to end today, he prayed It would be.

Chess hits the screeching alarm clock with a small groan. He lifts his body from the warm bed and slips his warm feet into some slippers laying on the floor. His arms felt so weak and fragile as he stretches them, getting big and small pops here and there as he works all the knots out.

" Ngh... Staying up till 5 A.M takes a huge toll on the muscles.." He drags his body over to the Coffee machine. A coffee stained cup is thrown onto the base of the coffee machine as he dumps Coffee grounds in the filter. He closes the lid with a small click, and pushes the button on the side to watch as the brown, hot liquids pours into the white mug. He grabs the coffee and drops onto the couch as he turns the tv on. The screen flashes on, Chess looks up at the screen from sipping his drink to see army soldiers coming home.
" Th-That's right now!? I must have over slept!! I have to get ready!!"

He takes a quick glance at his alarm clock flipped to 3 P.M, not 3 A.M. He gets dressed and tidies up the house so it looks nice for Nick when he gets home. After he finishes, he takes a step back to see his work.
" It looks good! Now let's go get my brave so--" A loud knock is shot through the room as Chess gets his shoes on.
" hmm? Who could that be?.." He walks over to the door and opens it, only to find an letter laying on the ground. He gently picks it up and sees the front. It's from the army. Chess feels a cold shiver down his spine, he stares blankly at the letter before flipping it open and starts to gently open it. He gets it open, and as soon as he opens it, something shiny falls to the floor with a small metal sound. Chess kneels to the object and picks it up by the chain.

It's a set of dog tags... With Nicks name plastered right on the front.
