#43 Mindless Direction

MB sat in the office waiting on the big new. At least, that's what Walter and Kenneth said. They sat around waiting and waiting, becoming extremely impatient.

"What is taking them so long?" Princeton questioned.

"I don't know. They talking about how they got some big news for us and they ain't even here." Roc said.

"Aye, what y'all think it's about?" Prodigy inquired as he threw the small ball in the air and caught it continuously.

"Maybe it's a surprise vacation." Princeton smiled. "You know we need it."

"I think we getting another paycheck. A big one at that." Roc nodded.

"Nigga, is money all you ever think about?" Ray snarled.

"Like you not the same way."

"I think it's a surprise tour." Prodigy said. "It only makes sense."

"Yeah, and maybe we'll have OMG or Diggy as our openers." Princeton smiled.

"Or Jacob Latimore." Ray added.

Just then, Walter and Kenneth walked in. Dresses formally in suit jackets and slacks, they sat at the table along with the boys.

"Good morning boys." Walter greeted.

"Good morning." They said back.

"So we know you guys are wondering what we have you here for. We have some news to tell you." Kenneth said.

"You guys have been working really hard in the studio lately. With all these new songs for the album, us and the label thinks it would be a good idea to go on a surprise your for the entire summer!" Walter said.

"Well be all over the place including all of North America, London, and more." Kenneth added. "This will give you guys a lot more exposure."

"Really! Awe man, that's great!" Prodigy said.

"I can't wait! This is what we should've did for AATW Tour!" Princeton smiled.

"I know right. That's wassup!" Roc nodded.

Everyone was excited. Well, everyone except for Ray. He wasn't quite convinced and knew that there had to be a catch. A catch there was indeed.

"Okay, enough already." Ray said sitting up right in his chair. "What's the catch?"

"What do you mean? There's no catch." Prince said giving Ray a weird look.

The room grew silent as Kenneth and Walter gave each other a worried look.

"There is no catch right?" Prince said in a serious tone.

"Well..." Walter said scratching the back of his neck. "You're not exactly headlining. You're more so sharing the headline."

"If we're not headlining by ourselves, who's doing it with us?" Roc inquired.

The managers gave each other the same look again then turned to face the boys. This time, Kenneth decided to speak up.

"One Direction."

The boys nearly fell our of their seats. Their happy mood quickly went left as they let the news sink into their brains.

"You're kidding right?" Roc snarled.

"I knew it was a catch. I told y'all it was a catch." Ray said jumping up from his seat.

"I know you guys don't get along that well, but everything is going to be fine."
