It was all going great until she appeared. She never really did like me I didn't know why. I always tried to keep my distance from her but she still managed to sneak her way into my life. It was as if she was always there like she was my shadow silently watching from a distance. I don't know if anyone else knew that she was there but I was always conscious of it. She scared me. I'm not somebody who would scream at a rat - I would of always considered myself as brave but that all changed when she appeared. I guess you want to know how this all started , well it goes back a to when we were kids.
I was 9 and playing with the girl who lived down the road from me. I can't quite remember what her name was but I remember her features. She was tall, thin and had brunette hair down to her hips. We were walking home from the local chippy when it happened. I was traumatised. We turned a corner and a truck came flying out from nowhere we had nowhere to go and then it happened. I can't remember what happened after we were hit by the truck. All I remembered was waking up in a hospital bed. I felt stiff and sore. I panicked and started screaming. The doctor and 2 nurses came running in. I screamed at them, "Where the hell am I?, what's in my arm, where's my mam?" The doctor spoke calmly to me he said , "your mother is in intensive care" "What!", I screamed. "What do you remember?" I try to think suddenly I get a searing shot of pain through my whole body. I let a a high pitched shriek that hurts my ears even more.
