Chapter 5 / Skype?

Skype?

2 Months had gone by so quickly and after a great day James tried to make it better by going on Xbox. He turned on his Xbox with excitement wondering who might be online.

Checking his friend list for that one person he saw that they were online. Magnumchomper otherwise known as Smyra was online and quickly James was about to send a party invite when in the top right hand corner of his screen it said 'Magnumchomper wants you to join a party!'

Immediately joining the party he hears the excited voice of Smyra who greeted James into the party. They say they greetings and James checked what game Smyra was on and it said that she was on Minecraft, playing alone.

Out of curiosity James asked why every time when she is online, why she is always playing Minecraft. Jokingly, Smyra said "Because every other game just makes me rage! So I play this"

Trying not to laugh he says "Well if you weren't so noobie on Call of duty you wouldn't rage!"

Expecting a awkward response Smyra said simply "I'm not as noobie as you are so why don't you rage?"

Struggling to think of something he shouts "YOU WIN! I GIVE UP, EVERY SINGLE TIME!" and to James's surprise all he hears is Smyra burst out laughing down the headset and this makes him feel embarrassed that he lost a simple argument but knows he did something funny, so feels better about it.

"You going onto Black ops 2?" James blurts out and in the top right hand corner of the screen it says 'Magnumchomper has started playing Black ops 2!' and James says jokingly "Hahaha I read your mind and actions! I'm just awesome like that!" another laugh came through the headset.

"I will have to show you that your a bigger noob than I am!" Smyra exclaimed which made James smile because he knew he was a noobish person. (A noob is a person who uses guns in this situation that are over powered which also means that its hard to win gun fights over someone when they are using that gun and James often used guns like this so he would win most his gun fights and finish not to bad on the score board because of it.)

"I haven't had a warm up game, its like a baby trying to play to play twister, they will never be able to reach the right part!" James tried to say, so he could defend himself from further embarrassment.

"That's because you are a baby Killer!" shouts Temperz who suddenly joins the party.

Excited by his best friend (Smyra's cousin temperz) James screams "Temperzzzzzz! you sexy beast get your arse on this game now!! Because I don't know but you have to!!"

Shocked and excited Temprezz smiles and then puts in his Black ops 2 disc. "Yo James!! We going on league play?!" (League play is a game mode which you play MLG rules and settings, you play 4 vs 4 against other players, who are at your ability or better so that you can improve and also get ranked against some of the games best players)

"Of course we are, i can't play Teamdeath Match! Its so annoying when you have all the noobs in the game now!" Exclaims James as Smyra agrees with him.

Games and games of League play go past and Temperzz has to leave, Smyra and James both say their goodbyes, Temperzz says he will be online again tomorrow, but they all know that depends if he is in trouble again or not with his sister. (Longer story)

James plays a couple more games and starts to wonder if Smyra has Skype so that they could finally see each other face to face for the first time in ever, although its through face cam and not physically meeting. James questions himself if he should ask but leaves it for a bit and carries on the banter with Smyra.

Some time goes past and James stops questioning himself, "Smyra, do you have Skype...?" to James this was a long shot but decided to ask anyways.

"I don't, no, but i could get it if you want me to"

This puts James back into the place he originally was, questioning the situation, "I was only asking you don't have to go through the effort if you don't have it"

Smyra goes quiet for a bit and this makes James think he has done something wrong but maybe it was just his mind, he doesn't know what to do or say now, he even questions leaving the party because its so awkward to face the embarrassment of the potential rejection from her, that perfect girl.

Another 5 minutes goes past and nothing was said, nothing. Could he had done something wrong?

"Is everything okay? your very quiet" James tries to restart a conversation.

"Yeah, just made an account, add me"

James instantly shares details so fast he could had been called desperate, but Smyra never said anything against it. "Do you want to Skype or not today?"

"I have to go in  aminute so there isn't much point but i will tomorrow if you want to?" Whispers Smyra and then the connection dropped on the internet and the entire conversation stopped, James was exstatic but furious that the internet cut out...

James takes off the headset and says to himself, "Was that destiny or a coinsidence...?"
