"Lock her up in chains and drive her to insanity, we'll need it later," they ordered. Ebony was sitting in a dungeon, body covered in chains. She smirked at the idea of them driving her insane, because they could never do it. What they didn't know was she had magic, a very dark kind in fact. "I am a villain in your eyes, so why would I ever listen to you?" Ebony muttered.
Closing her eyes, she concentrated on summoning her dark magic. "I need to get out of here. Just get me out of here. I need to get out of here," Ebony repeatedly whispered. The magic didn't work. She screamed, "Why the hell isn't this working!" Someone came up to the cell and asked, "Is there a problem here?" Ebony breathed heavily, muttering some words and then she was in her chains face to face with the person. "There is a problem," she uttered. "Why aren't they working?" Ebony demanded.
"What exactly isn't working?" the person questioned. "My powers!" Ebony shrieked. The person looked at her as if she's insane. "Magic doesn't exist. Now if you could stop this nonsense, it'd be very much appreciated. We don't have time to deal with your shenanigans," they explained. "Do I really have to be wrapped entirely in these chains? They're so uncomfortable and tight," she complained. "Those chains will come off soon, just be patient," they stated. Ebony just sighed and rolled her eyes.
Ebony's POV
Seriously, why am I in this prison? I don't recall getting caught doing anything bad. Maybe this whole time they were watching me. Yeah, that makes sense for them to waste their time on those things. Wait.
"Hey guard!" I shouted. Continuing, "What kingdom's hell hole am I in?" He looked shocked that I didn't know. "You're in the Tolan Kingdom's dungeon," he answered nonchalantly. Just as I thought, this kingdom's currently at war. "Hey! Get back to work you're not allowed to talk to me!" I teased.
Immediately he went back to his post not even looking my way anymore. All I could do was laugh my ass off in these chains. Is that term used in these times? Probably not. Here wait, I'll just ask you. Do people use that phrase or am I going to have to make it a thing here? The second option, oh alright.
"Hey guard! I was just teasing ya! Let's make this a new phrase here. Whenever you're laughing really hard say lmao it stands for laugh my ass off! I wanna make it a thing here!" I shouted across the room. He glanced my direction, cracked a smile, and started laughing like crazy. "Lmao, you're pretty funny for a prisoner," he chuckled. I died when he said that.
When I get out of here, I should become a stand up comedian. I'd make the crowd go wild. They'll all being laughing and cheering, "lmao!" What am I saying? We all know what will happen when I get out of here. Man, I'm really tired, probably cause I haven't slept in a week. These chains are too damn irritating to sleep in.
"I haven't slept in a week! Take these chains off or something! I just wanna sleep peacefully!" I yelled to the guard. "I don't know what to tell you... I've been ordered to never take those chains off you," he replied. Sitting there, I just pouted, but then an idea came to mind. Come on Ebony, you can do this.
Guard's POV
All of a sudden I hear someone crying. Not crying, sobbing like crazy. Who's really that upset right now? I walk up to Ebony's cell to see her lying in the corner bawling her eyes out. "Ebony...why are you crying?" I asked concerned.
