I laughed as me and Ari talked about crushes. I wasn't sure about my feelings, so I told Ari I didn't have one. And Ari's last crush was in 3rd grade.
"I have something to tell you" Ari said, out of the blue.
"Mm hmm. Go ahead" I urged.
Silence.
"THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING MEEEE!!!!" I yelled loudly.
"I like someone."
......
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTT???????????!!!!" I screamed, obnoxiously.
"Who is it? Tell me. Come one. I won't tell anyone. I promise. Please tell me. Who's the lucky guy? Tell me, pleaassee! Pretty please. You guys would be soo cute! Come on, tell me. Go ahead!" I urged, super excited.
"Starts with a Ca. Ends with a Leb" she mumbled, blushing.
My mouth hung open. Literally.
"Seriously?" I whispered.
This is huge. Talk about awkward. She doesn't know about my feelings, though.
"We will get you two together" I forced a smile.
"Really? You would do that for me?" she grinned.
"Yeah, of course!" I agreed.
What had I just gotten myself into this time?
