Ch 1//Dont make a deal with the devil

I pull into the car park and I park (duh). When I get out I can't help but feel that there's something weird happening. Most of the cheerleaders went past in a group jogging and screaming I gave them a weird smile and I got smiles back but way more excited than mine. I would love to make this cliche and say all the cheerleaders are nasty and self absorbed but they aren't I know them because of my brother he's king jock and 9 and a half months older than me, so we are in senior year together his birthday is on 1rst of September and mines on the 15th July. We have different dads we live with his though, Mark.

I go to my locker and get out my textbook that I need and shove it in my ellesse backpack for my first two periods of double English yay not. Then I go to find my best friend Rosa Hernandez yes we are both latinas and we are so crazy I think that's why we are best friends. I see her from behind and I scream her name and run down the hallway when I get to her she seems off but acts normal.
"Hey I was looking for you." I said .
"Hey I haven't seen you in ages!" She says giving me a hug.
"The school seems weird today then cheerleaders were way peppier than last year." I say looking at her.
"Oh Mija you haven't heard!" She says with sorrow in her eyes.
"No what would I have heard about? What's going on?" I question.
She says nothing she just takes my hand and pulls me back into the direction of the senior car park.
"Where are we going?!" I ask but nothing I get nothing in response.

We are at the senior car park but the opposite end that I park. I stand there with my mouth open, then close it. Blake O'Donnell is back. He went to military school cause he was in trouble with the law all the time and his dad is high up in the law system so I think that was best he went for junior year and he is back. Kill me now please.

He spots me ,takes off his aviators and hangs them on his white v neck T-shirt.
Walking over to me with a smirk on his face.
"Hey told you I'd be back." He says looking at me.
"Never make a deal with a devil." I say looking across the parking lot and that's when I spot my brother and his girlfriend the head cheerleader she looks really sympathetic for me and my brother looks like he is going to kill someone.
"Don't be this way Ade." He looks sorrowful.
"It's Adrienne to you and while your here don't talk to me, don't look at me and better yet don't come anywhere near me." I say as I turn and walk away with Rosa. As we are walking away I can feel my brothers presence on my side.
"What the hell was that!?" He sounds less angry cause his girlfriend is here. Honestly they are perfect together.
"Nothing I told him to stay away from me." I say defensively.
"Ok then I love you, see you later." He says as he kisses the top of my head.
I give a small smile and I look to his girlfriend Hayley and give her a hug and she goes off with my brother.

I'm late to English which isn't unusual for me.
"Ahh miss Garcia Lopez thanks for joining us." Mr Warren says he's super chill and gets I'm only here to get my diploma.
"No problem." I say as I'm about to sit in an empty seat.
"Adrienne can you go sit at the back with Mr O'Donnell." He says blankly.
"But I don't want to." I whinge.
"That or the principal." He states.
"Can I chose the principal?" I ask.
"No." he says smiling so I groan and drop my bag on the floor and slam my textbook on the desk so it made a bang.
Poke.
Poke.
Poke.
"Stop poking me or I will break your face!" I hiss at Blake and he doesn't respond. When English ends I grab my bag and leg it to my locker get my stuff and rush to my next class.

I'm the first person there so I start doodling in my note book for a while but apparently time goes pretty fast now the rest of the class is pouring into the room and Blake having a full on make out session with this random girl then proceeds to come up behind me and say.
"Those are good."
"I thought I told you to stay away from me." I say still looking at my doodles.
"You can say it but doesn't mean I will do it." He says. I don't even responds.

As soon as all my classes were over and Blake was in every single one I sprint to my car and drive to the boxing ring.
When I get there I change into my sports bra and short shorts for my boxing and when I walk out of the locker rooms I see him and I nearly die.
I walk up to the boxing bags confidently trying not to look at him and start punching.
"Damn Ade you grew up nice!" He shouts from across the gym and everything and everyone goes silent because I'm fiery as hell. I stop punching and go up to him at this point he looks a bit scared but not much.
"If you talk to me again I will punch you ok all you have done since you've got here is piss me off!" I scream in his face as he looks so shocked. I walk out and grab my bag throwing it in the back of my truck and drove home. I just need a hot bath.
Family background:
My brother, Cole, has a different dad to me his dad is called Mark and we live with him now we have since the start of freshman year, by we I mean me and my mom. Mark has always lived with Cole.
