And there I was, lying on the cold, wet ground.

"Why is this happening to me? If I could only use magic.." I whispered.

"How stupid can you be? You can't take on a whole guild by yourself." A dark guild member said.

I clenched my teeth.

"I can do more than you think!" I yelled.

"Oh..getting back up?" He said.

I wasn't ready to accept that I would never be able to use magic. I just wanted to be strong. But all I can do is fight with my sword.

"I'll..show you..I can be strong.." I muttered under my breath.

I looked up at the couple dozen dark guild members with anger.

"Haha! Come on then!" The leader shot a ball of fire at me.

I quickly dodged and sliced him in the chest immediately rendering him unable to fight.

I ran head on into the fight, not caring what happened to me. I swung my sword fast and non stop until they were all lying on the ground.

I stood there in the pouring rain, lifeless corpses lying all around me.

"Is this strength enough for me..? No..they were just weak." I said to myself.

I stood there in a daze. Wondering what I should do now that I've avenged my family.

I let out a quiet laugh. "I'm all alone..lost. There's nothing in this world for me anymore." I said.

I heard several footsteps behind me.

"What the hell happened here..?" A man asked.

I turned around and looked at the small group behind me.

Two women, and two men. And a small blue cat.

"You there! Did you do this!?" A red haired women asked.

I stayed silent for a moment and looked back to the bodies.

"I did. They all deserved what was coming to them." I said.

I sheathed my sword and walked, stopping beside the red head.

"They murdered my precious family..My mother, father, little sister, and my little brother. They were so young, only ten and eleven years old. No one deserves that kind of relentless pain." I whispered to her and walked away.

All of a sudden, a loud trumpet in the sky could be heard from all over the world.

I looked up. The dark sky was opening.

"What..?" I said to myself.

And then, a lightning bolt struck me.

The sound in my ears went out.

A voice in my head said, "I grant you my power. The power of your long lost friend. Use it wisely, my dear friend. This is the only gift I will be able to give you. Thankyou, as long as I live, I will never forget what you did for me that day. It was the happiest time in my life."

The sound returned to my ears. I fell to the ground, unconciouss.

I ran up to him and checked his pulse. He was still breathing fine.

"How lucky can you get..?" Natsu said.
