Chapter four
Soul's pov still
I saw the big tall guys hand turn into a bigger knife so that it would cut Maka's hand which it did. At that moment my heart dropped so deep that I didn't know where it was.
When the knife became bigger Maka screamed in pain but still held the knife. But the knife was going closer and closer to Maka's heart which was bad!!
Suddenly Maka let go of the knife blade and passed out from the lack of blood. The knife then went to her chest and then it almost cut her but I rushed to Maka and transformed my hand into my weapon blade of my syth.
I then cut off the guys hand with my blade but then he slammed me into a tree. I then coughed up blood from the impact of the knock back. My friends then charged to at the guy to attack when then suddenly he jumped up in the air but I jumped up and followed him, running through the woods.
I then stopped to find myself trapped in a circle of other big people around me, their hands in weapon form ready to attack. I looked up and found the guy that took Maka. He was on top of a building looking down at me with Maka in his big hand bleeding out. I looked at Maka and saw her worried face. I then started to attack the men standing around me in a circle but there were too many of them.
There were three of the around me and one was really tall and the other two were about 2 more feet taller than me. They all charged at me but I dodged it with my (cool) skills. But then there were five more which was eight in total, I then started to back up but one of them were behind me so he tossed me back to the other guys.
One then transformed his hand into a big sword blade and he charged at me with his sword blade. I then got up but it was too late, so I got hit by the blade and it knocked me back up against a tree.
I then coughed up blood and more blood came out of my stomach where the blade cut me at. There was a puddle of blood but I knew that I need to save Maka even if I die doing so.
I then got up and jumped onto the trees to get up on top of the building where Maka was. When I got up there I seen Maka there laying down, blood around her forming into a big puddle. I ran to Maka and then when I reached her I felt a stabbing pain in my back.
I then knew that the guy that hurt Maka stabbed my back. I tried to get up but the guy lifted me up by the neck and said, "wait and you will see what we actually can do to you and your partner here." He then ran off into the woods.

Maka's pov
I then got up to see that I was bleeding really bad and then I saw Soul lying there on the ground across from me. I then went over to Soul to see him but his eyes were closed so I held him tight.
When I opened up my eyes I heard voices coming from the ground, below us. " We're up here guys!" I said holding Soul in my arms tightly.
I then see Soul open his eyes and smile at me like he always does. I couldn't help it but then I did the unbelievable. I kissed him on the lips. I then saw Soul shocked because he never thought that I would kiss him on my own but I always would have even if we weren't in a situation like this.
He then smiled at me again and then I smiled at him. Suddenly I felt a pain in my stomach from the cut. I then got up and coughed up blood, forming a little puddle of blood on the buildings roof. I collapsed on the floor holding my stomach but it didn't help with the bleeding and the pain.
I felt arms going around me holding me tight. I then saw Soul holding me in his warm arms that I love. He then saw the blood on the floor where I coughed it up. He looks at my stomach and had a worried expression on his face. He knew that I was in bad shape but so did I, I then collapsed onto the floor without thought.
My body shutdown while I was in his arms. I felt cold and felt like I was going to die until I felt Soul pick me up and he started to run down the stairs to meet with the stein and our friends. I heard faint voices but I knew that I didn't have long to live but at least I was being carried by the one I love the most, Soul Evans.
