Elena's POV

We all sit in the back seat awkwardly. Mostly because I'm squished in between Damon and Stefan. Damon looks out the window obviously annoyed. I'm ticked at him. Why can't he just understand me.

We get to our destination and we all get out of the car. A maze? It's literally a maze.

"What is going on?" I ask.

"Elijah is in the middle of this maze. We have to split up. I'm assigning groups though. You refuse you go back." Rebekah says.

"Elena, Damon, and I will go together. Kol, Stefan and Haley will go together. Devina, Josh and Klaus go together." She says. Great I get to go with Damon.

Everyone nods their heads and heads off into different directions.

10 minutes later

"So what's your guys problem?" Rebekah asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Oh come on! Your both angry at each other. I'm not stupid." Rebekah says.

"Oh yeah that. Elena decided she wants to get herself killed." Damon says. He has the actual nerve.

"Seriously! I came here to help you guys find Elijah! And if I do die, then at least I died for a good cause! And if you think for one second that I'm turning back then your wrong!" I yell back.

"WELL MAYBE-" Damon gets cut off by Rebekah.

"GUYS! Look." Rebekah points at a wooden door in the middle of the maze.

I walk up to it and try to open it. It's locked. Damon comes up and kicks the door in.

We walk into the dark room when I hear a grunt and a thump. I turn behind me to see Damon on the floor with a vervain needle in his neck.

"Damon!" I yell as I drop to the floor to try to shake him awake. I turn around to see Rebekah on the ground as well.

"Elena! *cough cough* Run!" I hear. I look around to see Elijah in a metal cage. I try to run when a man grabs me from being, and everything goes black.

One hour later

"Let us go. If you hurt her I swear I will kill you." I hear voices talking.

I start to cough. I open my eyes to see Rebekah and Damon tied up across from me. And Elijah in the vervain cage.

"Oh good. Your all awake. Let's have some fun shall we?" Marcel says.
