Sakura was late. Her first impression of going to an elite shinobi academy was going to be ruined due to her carelessness of staying up the night before studying.

Would her scholarship be ensured if she made truancy a common occurrence?

Looking in the mirror, she noted her uniform was wrinkled and her black stockings were going to get flagged for not following the dress code.

She didn't have time to think or try to change her crumpled form. Slamming the door to her apartment she quickly made her way to school.

Reaching the gate, she leaned over resting her hands on her thighs to catch her breath, her green eyes bright in worry.

Then she heard it...

A click and a small automatic closing sound. Looking over her shoulder she saw rustling in the bushes. Curious she walked over and peered in between the leaves.

It was a student!

A senior by the looks of it and he had a camera in his palms. Realization hit her and she snatched the camera out of his hands.

The guilty look on his face confirmed the worst.

A peeping tom.

"Perv!" she snapped kicking him in the face with her cleated foot.

Upon inspecting the pictures, she saw that only one picture in fact had been taken.

The cherry trees were letting their petals fall, the wind rustling in her hair. Her eyes were shining in the sun casting a golden hue in her iris's.

It was a piece of art.

Turning she looked back at the photographer who was groaning and rubbing his face in only what she could assume was pain.

"Why did you take my picture?" she held up the camera.

Looking up at her, Sakura could finally see the whole of his face. The chestnut brown hair, purple streaks of eyeliner, those haunting grey-green eyes. Even the small modest beauty mark adorning his chin.

He was beautiful...

Even more breath taking than the picture.

"It was a good view; I don't control the picture the muse does" he smiled grimacing slightly from the rough shoe print on his face.

Sakura relaxed her shoulders upon hearing his voice.

"You know you didn't have to kick me in the face, you're the one in the wrong for coming late." He calmly grabbed his camera from her surveying the lense for damage.

He eyed her cautiously.

"You wouldn't happen to be the new transfer student?" he asked.

He was sitting on the ground a slightly embarrassed look on his face.
