Percy and Annabeth, after settling in after the war with Gaea, purchased an apartment just a couple miles from the Camp, so they could continue training with some of the other campers.
To show off their new apartment to the rest of the Seven, they hosted a New Years party and invited all the couples, including the newly returned Leo and Calypso.
Everyone came, and watched the football games, ate, and talked. Percy, however avoided the alcoholic beverages unlike the others. He never ever wanted to act towards Annabeth like Gabe did to his mom. He had vowed to himself never to drink, never to act even a fraction like Gabe ever did.
They really enjoyed themselves the whole time, especially when they all headed to the rooftop near midnight, to spend the first moments of the new year not only gazing at the stars, but also spending time with their significant others.
In those last moments before the clock struck 12, the couples discussed their New Years resolutions, and their big plans for the new year. There were lots of kisses swapped between everyone, while the bright full moon reflected off their faces into the navy blue night sky. They could hear the other parties on the other rooftops, all of which were mich louder than theirs. However, they enjoyed each other's company immensly, especially after the drainign hours on the Argo II.
When the clock hand moved the dash at the twelve, Percy and Annabeth embraced, and throught the kiss Percy whispered, "One promise for the New Years, Wise Girl- You are never getting out of my sight."
At the sound of him saying this, Annabeth kissed him harder, and a tear of happiness drifted down her face.
They seperated, and Percy grinned. "Annie," he started, " I have a new New Years resolution."
"What, Seaweed Brain?"
"Kiss Annabeth more."
