Journey to the Castle

My feet ached as I was pulled along the dead grass by the Kings Guards. We had been treading for 24 hours straight with no rest stops. The guards weren't even generous enough to provide me with a horse to ride on my journey; not that I expected them to. I was pulled by a rope bound around my hands, held by one of the guards. My throat burned from lack of hydration and my wrists were bleeding from the friction of the rope; although I didn't mind, I can take pain rather easily.
A few hours past and my legs felt as if they'd break at any moment, fortunately, we had finally reached the castle. An enormous silver gate lie ahead of us with guards at every inch of it.
"Halt! Who goes there?" One of the guards at the gates entrance asked.
"We're here with the prisoner, Elaine Mallory, we come from the east kingdom. The king is expecting us." Replied the guard holding my rope.
The guard at the gate examined us closely for much too long, until he nodded his head and opened the gate. I felt a harsh tug on my rope as my guard moved toward the castle's entrance. As much as I hate to admit it, the castle looked magnificent. It was impossibly large and had a glorious white exterior. A pity I would most likely be spending my time here in the dungeons or gallows, rather than enjoying its luxuries. Another guard that was guarding the castles ginormous glass doors nodded and let us proceed into the castle.

Judgement time.
