The only thing I could even think of was running. My pack was attacked by a larger pack and killed my mother and father who was the Alpha and Luna of our pack. My fathers last words to me were 'I love you! RUN!' He ordered in his alpha tone. My wolf wanted to fight but I blocked her. Now I'm running as fast as I could in my human form holding a newborn child that her dead mother was shielding with her body, I heard her muffled cries and knew I couldn't leave her. Her mother and father were the male and female beta for my pack. She is only two weeks old. I looked down to the sleeping infant and pulled the cover tighter around her trying to protect her from the wind.
I woke up sweating and panting from my reoccurring nightmare, it happens almost every night.
"You ok mama?" A now two year old Destiny ask me.
"Yes love, mommy's fine. I'm sorry I woke you!" I kiss her head.
She was now my daughter by blood, we had to cut both of our hands and hold them together for her to become my daughter, my new Alpha made me do it or he would have made Destiny a rouge at a year old. Me and my wolf Mia accepted her as our pup right away. The only thing Mia was worried about is our mate might reject us thinking we didn't wait for him. I normally block her once she starts thinking about our mate. It's not that i dont want my mate but I'm prepared for him to reject me anyways. I have to much baggage.
I looked at the clock and it read seven o' five. I had to get up and go start breakfast for my pack.
Once everything happened to my old pack I went to Alpha Jason because he was a alliance of my fathers and he accepted us into his pack after Destiny became my child.
I grab my tight leggings and a tanktop. And slip them on over my bra and panties. I grab Destiny a outfit and get her dressed and we make it down the stairs of the pack house to see Alpha Jason standing there with a bright smile. I immediately bowed my head in respect to my Alpha.
"Alpha." I address him.
"Avery, I have another Alpha and Beta joining is for breakfast do you mind making extra?" He ask brightly.
"No Sir. I'll make extra." I smile at him.
"Thank you dear. You are the best cook in the pack." He chuckled softly.
"Thank you Alpha. How is our Luna feeling today?" I ask him.
"She is doing good. Still having morning sickness but she says that just means our pup is going to be strong." He added with love in his eyes talking about his mate. 'I want that kind of love' Mia mumbles. I instantly block her.
"I'll go start breakfast now Sir." He nods.
I take Destiny to the huge kitchen with me, the kitchen I had grew accustom to over the year and a half I was here.
"What should we make?" I ask my daughter.
"Can we make biscuits and gravey?" Her big blue eyes shinning.
I giggled a little and nodded my head yes.
I took out the ingredients and began cooking. Once I had everything done I was working on washing the dishes with Destiny helping dry them. I smelt the most wonderful smell. It was mouthwatering it smelt like chocolate strawberries. I grabbed Destiny even if she was looking at me if I was crazy and followed the scent. The smell was driving men insane. I got closer to the pack house living room. Before I even stepped foot in the living room I heard a intimidating growl and froze. I dropped my head in respect immediately.
"Mine!" A beautiful voice growled. I looked up and gasped. My mate was a beautiful man. He had short black hair with peircing green eyes. He stood at least 6'3 and he was looking at me like I hung the stars.
Mia was trying to get out so i had to keep her at bay and remind her Destiny was in my arms.
"Mate! Mate!" Mia kept cheering. I seen Amanda my best friend walk up and take Destiny from my arms. I couldn't look away from his eyes.
"Reject her now Luca!" A high pitched woman's voice screamed as she wrapped her arms around my mate.
I let out a vicious growl I didn't know I was capable of.
"MINE!" Mia growled fighting the block I put on her in my mind.
"He is my soon to be husband!" The girl laughed. I looked at my mate.
"Reject me!"
"I Luca Mason, Alpha of the BloodMoon pack reject you, Christy Thomas of becoming my packs future Luna!" He told the girl not breaking eye contact with me.
The girl screamed and then launched for me. I let Mia take complete control. I kept her from shifting but that didn't stop me from breaking her nose and her leg along with a bused lip and black eye. She didn't leave a mark.
"How did you do that?" Lucas beta ask quietly once I stopped fighting.
"Mama! Mama!" Destiny ran in crying. She jumped straight in my arms. I hugged her tight.
I watched my mate's eyes turn completely black from rage.
"Destiny go help your Luna please." Alpha Jason ask.
She nodded and grinned.
"Yes Alpha!" She grinned and took off running.
"Luca-" Alpha Jason started.
"WHOS FUCKING PUP IS THAT!" My mate growled at me, power radiating off of him.
"Mine." I answered.
"YOU DIDNT WAIT FOR YOUR FUCKING MATE? WHY DIDNT YOU WAIT FOR ME!!" He spit out breathing hard.
"It's a long story." Alpha Jason piped up.
"TELL ME RIGHT FUCKING NOW, MATE!" He growled at me. I am a white wolf which means his Alpha voice doesn't affect me, but i know it's frowned upon not to show a Alpha respect. But Mia didn't like the way our mate was acting and frankly neither did I.
"I DONT HAVE TO EXPLAIN SHIT TO YOU! YOU DONT EVEN KNOW MY FUCKING NAME!" I growled my alpha jenes coming out strong in my voice. I watched as the betas, and the third of commands from both packs drop their heads in respect.
"YOU ARE A WHORE!" My mate growled.
"I AM A FUCKING VIRGIN, MATE!" I spit at him. He clinched his teeth together.
"Don't fucking lie, I seen the proof. I seen the little mutt." He hissed between his teeth.
Mia growled forcefully at him.
"Please sit down and I'll explain everything." My Alpha said quickly.
"You can do that I'm going to check on my daughter and my Luna!" I spat at my sorry excuse of a mate. He growled lowly in warning.
"Your voice nor your commands won't work on her, she is the daughter of an Alpha." I hear Jason tell Luca as I was walking away. Mia was so angry pleading to be let out and attack.
'How dare our mate call us a whore.' She gritted out. I blocked her and knocked on the Lunas door.
"Come in." The luna giggled.
I opened up and walked inside. To see Destiny with a Barbie doll acting like it was walking on the Lunas swelled stomach. I giggled as well.
"Mommy!" Destiny yelled as she jumped up and ran towards me. I heard the Lunas beautiful voice laugh.
"Are you okay luna?" I ask holding my daughter.
"Yes sweetie but i think I'm going to take a nap, I'm exhausted." She smiled at me.
"If you need me just call I think me and this one are going to watch a movie." I tell the Luna as I walk away.
"Okay sweetheart and congratulations!" She smiled softly. I nod and bow my head showing her my respect. I walk to mine and Destinys room and put on Cinderella and cuddle up to my daughter. Half way through the movie I hear her soft snores and look at my precious angel. I played with her hair until a knock on my bedroom door broke me out of my thoughts. I smelt his scent before I even opened the door.
He looked so guilty and had his head dropped in shame.
"I'm so sorry Avery." He whimpered.
"You can reject me if you'd like." I spit out but I felt my heart break and Mia growl at those words.
Luca looked up at me and his eyes were pitch black meaning either his wolf was in control or he was pissed.
"Do you not want us." His voice was deep meaning his wolf was in control.
"Yes we want you." Mia quickly took over. I inwardly roll my eyes.
"Then why do you not care if I reject you or not?" He ask his eyes turning back green. I push Mia down who's now growling to mark her mate that she hasn't even knew a hour.
"Because I've always expected my mate to reject me." I mutter out embarrassed.
"I'm not going to reject you. I've looked for you for eight years." He whispered softly.
"May I come in?" I nod and step back but watching him closely making sure he wouldn't hurt Destiny. Mia wanted him to accept her but if he even looked at her pup the wrong way she was prepared to end him. He walked in and looked around. He stopped when he seen Destiny and if possible his eyes got softer.
"I'm so sorry." He muttered.
"You didnt know." I sigh.
"But i had no right to call you a whore."
"No you did not!" I growl lowly.
"Did you wait for me?" He ask looking away. I felt my face heat in embarrassment.
"Yes." I mutter.
"I didnt. I thought my mate was dead." He added almost silently.
Mia instantly got mad and hurt. I felt my heart crush at those words. Stupid fucking mate bond.
"Leave!"
He looked shocked but covered it up quickly. He smirked at me.
"Do you want to know how many girls I have had under me Avery?" He taunts. I felt my eyes turn black. Mia was now in control. She growled loudly and left the room running towards the back door because I knew she was about to shift.
'Amanda plead go to my room with Destiny' I mind link my best friend.
'Already there babe.' She replies instantly.
I felt him following me. I was finally outside.
I was shaking because I was so mad.
"Seven. Seven women and one I was supposed to marry" He laughed loudly. The pain in my stomach was from him every time he had sex with another woman. I felt the tears come out of my eyes.
"I Avery Sanchez, reject-" A murderous growl erupted out of Luca's chest.
"YOU WILL NOT REJECT ME! AND I WILL NOT REJECT YOU!"
Mia had it. She shifted. My solid white wolf had ripped through my tights and tanktop reveling her nine foot frame. I've always had a bigger wolf than most because my father was a Alpha but a white wolf is very powerful and Luca knew it because his mouth hung open and he looked at me in awe.
"I was lying. I've waited for you. My father arranged Christy because he claimed the pack needed a Luna." He stated and I growled not believing in him.
He smirked. "I just needed to see if the mate bond was making you as jealous as I was when I seen the pup." He chuckled. He walked away with a smile. I laid my wolf down in the sun enjoying the warmth. I heard foot steps approach and smelt his scent.
"Please shift back I would like to talk with you." Luca said holding out a sun dress. I rolled my wolf eyes and grabbed my clothes with my mussel. I ran in the woods and shifted quickly. I threw on the dress and thanked the moon godess it had a build in bra. I walked back out completely ignoring Luca. I walked over to the garden and sat down to clear my head.
"I was really lying. For the most part."
"No you was not I felt the pain. White wolf's are more sensitive to their mates. So don't lie." I said holding back the tears. I hate this mate bond. I thought it was supposed to be a good thing.
"I've never had sex with a woman. Other things yes."
"Then why the hell was you so mad because I had a daughter." I snap.
"Because I thought you chose to carry another wolf's child."
"No I didn't but I should have. I shouldn't have stayed pure." I mutter and turn to leave. I successfully made it up to my room to see Amanda with a sleeping Destiny.
She jumped straight up and embraced me in a hug.
"I'm so sorry Ave." She muttered.
"I'll be fine Manda. I'm gonna lay down for a while." I mutter climbing in my bed and wrapped my arms around my daughter. I heard the door open and close knowing she left. I smell my daughters hair and instantly calm down. Mia relaxes and I was almost asleep. When I heard the door open and close again. I ignore it and breath in Destinys scent again. I felt the bed drip and warm arms wrap around me.
"I'm sorry Avery. I promise I'll never do anything to hurt you again." He mutters and places a feather light kiss on my check. I drift off into darkness with my wolf extremely happy.
