Forced

Chapter 1

"Oh....god." I huffed as I ran along through the mud. We were doing our daily running exercises and I was falling behind like I always do. Suddenly something clipped my foot and I fell face first in to the mud. I sat up and noticed someone was standing over me with there arm outstretched. I grabbed their hand and they pulled me up. "Hey thanks." I said once I got to my feet.

"Don't mention it." Was all they said before running off.

"Hey wait." I called but they were already gone.

As I ran on I thought about who had helped me up. They had their hood pulled over their face as if they didn't want me to know who it was. It couldn't have been Eren because they had a girl voice. That means maybe Mikasa but she was running up ahead when Eren and wouldn't have even known if I fell. I thought about all the other girl in my group and slowly checked each one off one by one until I thought of Annie. She is strong and could have picked me up as fast as the person did. She is a girl which is obvious. Everything matched except I couldn't think of a reason why she would help me up. Noticing we were almost done with our run I shrugged the thought off and focused on finishing.

Once we were done with the run we got the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted to do, so like I always do I met up with Eren and Mikasa.

"Hey Armin." Eren said upon seeing me. "I didn't see you much during this last run."

"Yea." I replied. "I feel behind like I always do but this time I must have kicked a stick stuck in the mud or something because I fell pretty hard."

"What! Really are you ok?"

"Yea I'm fine it just made me fall behind farther then I usually do." I decided to leave out the part of someone helping me up because I thought it was probably Annie but wasn't sure yet.

"Are you sure you are ok."

"Yes Eren I'm fine now where did Mikasa run off to." I said as I just realized Mikasa was nowhere near.

"Um I don't know." Eren said while spinning in a full circle."She probably went to get some food so we should check the mess hall."

I nodded and we walked off to try and find Mikasa.

Me and Eren found Mikasa at the mess hall already halfway through her food. We sat down near her and started eating. I noticed someone kept looking over at me while I was eating. I did a quick peek and saw that it was Annie. I couldn't read the expression on her face but she looked mad and happy at the same time. Getting kinda nervous I planned to stand outside for a minute. "Hey guys I will be right back." I said the Mikasa and Eren.

"Where are you going?" Eren asked.

"Just outside real fast I want to smell the rain."

"Ok just don't take to long."

I stood up and walked outside listening to the rain drops. I leaned against a tree and stood there thinking. Why was Annie staring at me? I thought. I couldn't read her expression but she didn't seem really mad at me. All of a sudden I heard footsteps behind me and turned around only to get shoved against the tree. It took me a second to make out who it was trough the rain but I finally did. It was Annie.

"Annie what are you do-" I got cut off when she all do a sudden pulled me in to a kiss. I stood there shocked not knowing what to do. Should I push her away but that might end badly for me. After a few seconds she pulled away.

"Anni-" She shushed me be holding her finger up to my lips.

"If you tell anyone what happened here they won't find your body. understand?" She looked up at me with a cold stare.

I stood there scared with the most emotionless person in the cadets right in front of me showing emotion.

"Do you understand me Armin?"

I didn't say anything but nodded for I was to sacred to speak.

"Ok good." She loosened her grip on the collar of my shirt. "Meet me back here in one hour,
Got it?"

"Y-yes I u-understand."
