Oh, sorry let me introduce myself, my name is Veronika. I am CFO of Zakir corporation and working since 2 years. I have strived more to get the CFO position.
Now you will be wondering why I am telling "no smiles, no socializing, no pleasant gestures" "for the sanity of my professional life" because I don't want to get socialized and make friends so that they become close and querying me about my past (however 100% they will leave me after listening to my horrible past).
Now coming to the present situation I am in front of mirror reminding myself "no socializing" which I am doing for two and half years. I have only 30 mins to reach office and the office is 20 mins away from my apartment before that I have to leave Zee to Vinay's house (He's like my brother and is happy with a wife and a baby boy) and drive to the office.
Sorry, forgot to tell about Zee, she is my daughter (I have adopted her and no one knows about Zee in my office). It's a daily routine, I will leave Zee in Vinay's place and while coming I will pick her up and spend the rest of the day with her. In a few months, we will be celebrating her 3 year birthday.
Before I introduce Zee, let me warn you, don't underestimate her considering her age.
"Zee" I called her she is playing with her horse which almost her size.
"Mama, I loueeee youuuuu," Zee said, that means there is something going on her mind otherwise, such sweet words not acceptable from my cute monster daughter.
"I love you too baby, come on let's have breakfast and I will drive you to Akash's house (Son of Vinay and Asha who is 4 years)" by picking her up in arms sitting in the chair by making Zee comfortable on my lap.
"Mamma choccate " 'Whoa, this why I love you scene hahaha,' I mentally laughed.
"No yesterday you ate a whole chocolate, no, no, no"
"Please, please plea zzz zzz" pouting with her perfect mesmerizing eyes and cute lips, which I cannot say no.
"Ok, if you complete the breakfast" by saying that I feed her breakfast she ate without complaining, and I gave her chocolate and let me tell you we can make her do anything by blackmailing for chocolate.
I took my purse and Zee's bag locked the door and geared the car engine to life, left Zee at Vinay's place and reached office.
Hmm as always I reached office in time. Soon I reached my cabin set the things. I have to provide all historical financial statements along with the reports of leverages and reasons for such at the end of this week as there is an Annual General Meeting next month.
The work is all set, but the previous year expenditure on construction of the project showing the difference. Which I have to look after and report before I produce my final report. Taking the printout of expenditures on the project I directed towards the CEO, Mr. Zakir's cabin.
