Snow Rose Cameron wasn't your average college student, no way. Her chorus teacher Mrs. Benson made the class sing deep, shadow-y songs, that didn't sound familiar. Her mother always wore a mask and was always out a night doing who knows what. Her father died before she was born, and she has no clue why. Snow's grandmother has an old raspy voice that tells stories about evil shadow spirits, acting as if they were the good guys.
One day, Snow and her friends sneak out of class and go deep into the woods. The group will find the truth about FSC (Fading Shadows College) and find their destinies.
