Jynx sat in front of the memorial stone and stared into its polished stone. She leaned forward slightly as if not actually reading the words, but looking at her reflection. Her hair sat in front of her face normally. The brown almost black strands of hair making her forehead and mainly the right side of her face almost unable to be viewed. She pulled her hair back and tucked it behind her ear. She rubbed her eye slightly and sighed seeing some of her make up rub off. Her heavy eyeliner that made her eyes look flawless was smeared, but her eye shadow still looked perfectly on point.
In another bag, she pulled out a small cloth and dabbed a corner of it with her tongue wetting it in order to wipe off the extra make up. She scrubbed her face and looked at the cloth. She washed her left eye first, the reds and black smeared in a small corner. She then rubbed under her right eye softly causing some foundation to rub off. Finishing she wiped her right eye and proceeded to look at her reflection in the stone again. A mole under her right eye was visible. Not beveled but more of a beauty mark. She grumbled at herself and stared at it as if it was a curse.
She thought back to that day, when father was killed. That day everyone was killed. Everyone important to the village died. She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes. "I remember that beast, the large untamable beast that so many fought to protect, and to stop his destruction." She fell onto her back and tugged on her hair, running her fingers through it. "So black. In a way, I miss my old hair color. But this black is alright now. Black like a funeral... I always used to wear black at least when I got older. No change from then to now I suppose." She snickered and raised her legs, heels together, up in the air an used the momentum to flip herself over to land on her knees in a backwards roll and keeping all of her hair in front of her body. "But after it all, I don't feel so bad at all for wanting to kill. The deal was broken when I regained life. A life that I had hidden beneath my mortal one. That Demon, no, the old me, the urge was always suppressed deep below... I just never let it out," She giggled and ruffled her hair slightly making her bangs fall over her face once again. "That dream wasn't enough. And now, my eyes are no longer able to work like they used to. My eyes are forever burned red," She laughed some and shook her head which swayed her hair side to side, "But I like it. I may have lost almost all of my normal Chakra, but I still know how the hell to fight and incorporate this darker side with the others'. I may not be an Anbu Captain any longer, but there's nothing I can do to stop Danzo's will... Unless... No, I can't"
Footsteps arrived behind Jynx and she turned her head slightly just to see who was approaching.

"Say Kakashi Sensei?" Naruto followed his sensei with his arms up behind his head with his fingers interlocked together. Kakashi turned around with a silent look. Naruto had a big grin running across his face, which made the group curious about what the knucklehead had to say with his big mouth this time. "So, uhm, what's with the mission situation? And about that lady I suppose. That mini war in Hokage's room was stupid. What gives her the big idea to start a fight with the village elders and even the Hokage? Did she have a death wish or something?"
Kakashi smiled and raised a finger, "First thing tomorrow we can go and see about a mission, alright?" He turned around and kept on walking, now backwards.
"Hey! That doesn't answer the question about the girl! I really want to know! We all do Kakashi Sensei!" Naruto stood his ground and clenched his fists slightly "You can't bring us into a room like that and not expect to explain yourself!"
"Yeah, Kakashi Sensei," Sakura piped in, "it isn't entirely fair to us. Who is she?"
Kakashi stood still and put his hands in his pockets and looked up to the sky, "She's an old friend. She in a way is younger than I. Hmm, maybe 18 by now? Or almost 19, because she just had a birthday or its soon, more or less. Age doesn't matter anyways. She was one of my superiors in the Anbu. A Captain in a different unit." Kakashi's face turned serious a bit and put his finger on his chin. "Yes, I'm rather surprised they allowed her to marry at such a young age, but she would be more so widowed. Yes, that's it. She technically would be considered a widow now."
