Crystal’s POV:
Peter and I snuggled together in his tent as we listened to the glorious sounds of the lost boys dancing around the campfire outside on the beach. Everything was over, and evil was gone. Peter sighed as I nuzzled my head underneath his chin and ran my hand in circles on his chest.
“You’re probably the bravest person I’ve ever known, Crystal…” Peter smiled. I grinned and held him tight.
“Well, you don’t do too badly yourself, Peter.” He chuckled and pulled me up to his eye level. His eyes were filled with love and hope. Such a contrast to when I had first met him to what seemed like eons ago.
“So,” Peter spoke in a hushed tone, “There’s the matter of you leaving Neverland… to go back to your family. I promised that when you had saved magic you could go home and-” I cut him off by pressing my lips to his.
“No,” I smiled, pulling back, “I don’t want to go home. This is my home now, Peter. I choose to stay.” Peter cocked his head.
“Why? Why would you give up your life in London to be with me?” I rested my head against his and ran a gentle hand through hair tousled brown hair.
“Because I love you, Peter. That’s why. I’m staying…forever.” Peter smiled widely and wrapped his arms around me, causing me to giggle. I knew I made the right choice. I did love Peter. I loved him more than anything and anyone in the entire world.
Peter leaned down and molded his lips to mine as he cupped my face. I smiled in the kiss we shared and relaxed into his embrace. He was everything I had ever wanted, and he was all mine for the keeping.
This was my choice. I was going to stay. Forever.
