I remember her hair flowing when the car came toward her. I couldn't move when she just stood there, wait for the car to hit her, terror in her eyes. I just watched it happen. I watched her get hit and watched when her body fly threw the air and hit the ground. I can't really remember if I did anything after that or not. But I remember what the thing she said about two years ago. She suprised me that day. Lily told me that she was pregnant. I remember. I cry everytime I think about her. I do remember one thing after the accident. Our baby girl walking across the street. Niether of us saw her. Lucky me, Lily ran out on time. It doesn't matter how scraped up Annie was she was safe. Thanks to her mother.
