New Girl

First Day

       It was the middle of January we just got back from winter break. I just got to school I am a junior in high school. I am new I just got transferred from a school in Georgia to a school in a city in New York. It was a far travel and I was really upset when my parents told me that we were moving because I am going to miss all my friends and my boyfriend but we had to move. My boyfriend and I said that we are going to stop dating, because long distance relationship don't end up good so we wanted to leave the relationship on a good note. Right now me and my brothers are on are way to school I have two older brothers that are twins their names are Ethan and Cody. I also have a younger brother named Colin.

       "Katie we are here we will go to the office together then at the end of the day we will meet at the front of the school okay?" Ethan said.

       "Sure I am going to go ahead so I can look around the school okay?"

       "Okay see you after school"

       "Okay bye" I got out of the car and headed into the school I got to the office and got my schedule and the secretary said someone will show me around. So I waited in the office and this guy came in to the office he was good looking but I still like my old boyfriend. The secretary said that he would show me around so I said "okay". We headed out of the office he told me his name is Andrew but some people call him Andy but he likes to be called Andrew. So me and Andrew walked around school he showed me my classes and we found out that we have almost all of our classes together so I will at least have someone in my classes I will know.

       My first class is choir surprisingly Andrew has that with me we walked to the room he went to his seat. Went up to the teacher and she asked me to tell the class a little about me. " I love to sing and dance I can play two instruments the piano and guitar. I was in a band before I moved here. I have been singing since I was five and I have been taking lessons ever since". The teacher told me I could sit anywhere so I took a seat next to Andrew. We talked most of the class we found out that we have a lot in common.

       The bell rang and I headed to my global class. When I got there I didn't have anyone to sit with because Andrew isn't in my class. I went to the teacher and told the class about myself then sat in the back sit. The end of the period took too long I got my stuff and put it in my book bag and headed to chemistry I had that class with Andrew. I was heading to class when some guy pushed me over in the hall my stuff scattered across the hall. I started to pick up my stuff when Andrew started to pick my things up. When we picked up everything he passes my books to me and we walked to chemistry.

       When we got to class I went to the teacher and she told me to sit wherever I want I looked and saw Andrew was sitting with this girl she has blonde hair and she had a lot of makeup on. Go figure Andrew has a girlfriend. I looked and there was a seat either the table next to Andrew or a sit in back. I choose the sit in back because I really don't want to talk to the girl he is dating because she will probably not want me to talk to him. So I walked pass Andrew and headed to the seat I sat down and looked up and saw Andrew looking at me. He looked confused but he turned around because the girl next to him started talking. We didn't do much in chemistry but we have one homework and a test in two weeks. I got up from my seat and headed to the cafeteria.

       When I found the cafeteria I got my lunch and walked to a empty table and ate I got done early so I got out my laptop. I was about to go on Facebook when someone sat down. I looked up and saw that girl that was sitting with Andrew.

       "My brother wants to know why you didn't sit with him during chemistry and right now?"

       "Ummm who is your brother?"

       "Andrew"

       "I didn't think he wanted me to sit with him" so they are brother and sister at least I know that they are not dating.

       "I am going to tell you this but Andrew would kill me if I told you but I am going to anyways he likes you Katie"

       "Really??"

       "Yes so come and sit with us okay?"

       "Okay I will be right over"

       "Okay"

       I can't believe that Andrew likes me and that girl was his sister I feel so stupid for being jealous of her. I grabbed my laptop and book bag and walked over to the table that Andrew and his sister are at. I sat down and opened my laptop I went to Facebook and was posting the pictures from my family trip I haven't gotten to post.

       "Hey Katie what you doing?"

       "Posting pictures of my family and I on Facebook"

       "Cool how are you liking it here"

       "It is okay I still miss my friends and my boyfriend I mean ex/boyfriend"

       "Oh"

       "My boyfriend and I broke up before I left but we said we want to still be friends"

       "It must be hard, to move from a place you have been there so long to a place you barely know"

       "Yeah"

       "Katie I was wondering if you wanted to hang after school?"

       "I don't know because my brothers might want me home but I think I can"

       "Okay because we have the same class last period we can walk to my car"

       "Okay"

       Just then the bell rang I said bye to Rosie that was Andrews sisters name. Me and Andrew walked to English we stopped by my locker and dropped some of my stuff then when we got to class the same as the other teachers. They said to say stuff about me then take a seat wherever I want I sat with Andrew but there was a girl and guy that was talking to him. I got to Andrew and took my seat.

       "Hey Katie this is Sarah and Zack, Sarah and Zack this is Katie she is new"

       "Nice to meet you Katie" said Sarah

       "Hey nice to meet you try not to fall for me or Andrew"

       "Zack shut up"

       "Umm Zack why did you tell me not to fall for you or Andrew"

       "Oh umm because nothing it was nothing forget I said anything"

       "Okay I guess"

       The rest of class me and Andrew were sliding a piece of paper writing to each other.

       After class ended we went to are lockers and went to go hang out. I saw Colin I went over to him and told him that I was hanging with a friend I made and he said just be home by 9:00 I said okay then went to Andrew. He said that we were going to his house to hang then we could go to the movies if I wanted to ,I said sure.
