All around me is nothing but pitch unsettling black, the abnormally horrible pain had stopped what feels like years ago, but I have no real sense of time, if this is what hell is, I understand why it's so bad, being alone in nothing but darkness can make anyone go stir crazy in the matter of minutes, but I strangely feel at peace.

Just then the scene slowly changes, to a place I'm all to familiar with, Ciel's garden. Only it's a memory, one of my fond ones actually. "What are you thinking about James?"

He sits beside me on the grass, overlooking his field of roses, I tilt my head at the question before turning to him and smiling, "Thinking how ridiculous you'll look in a circus."

He deadpans and I laugh, "I'm not joking, we'll look like complete idiots."

His lips quirk in a very small smile before he closes his eyes, "I know what you mean."

I laugh even harder, then something comes to mind, "What if it's not them?"

Ciel looks at me and smirks, "Then it's not them."

It was a simple statement, but I don't know what it was about it that made me feel so confident in him, or the words he said that made me trust him, but it sounded so final and so sure, though of course I'd never tell him, but it made me believe him and trust him.

The scene changes again and now I'm in Ciel's room, this was the first time Ciel had been remotely nice. I sit on his bed as he paces through his room, "And now for your story."

I snort and reply harshly, "I can just be myself, I mean after all, I'm just a troubled orphan."

Ciel stops his pacing and stares at me blankly he tilts his head and narrows his eyes, he speaks cautiously, "You were, but not now, now you're a Phantomhive colleague with utmost respect."

I stare at him and frown, "Then what's my story?"

Ciel ponders this then smirks, "You're a lost orphan."

I laugh, "Much better story!"

He chuckles before turning to leave but stops at the door, "Forget your past, you're a Phantomhive now."

He then leaves without saying another word and I look down at my hands, a Phantomhive huh?

This scene soon fades as well until I'm once again in the dark abyss. I feel different now though, my skin feels tingly, and everything feels much... clearer? Soon a soft sound fills my ears, the sound of breathing, and now a heartbeat, blood pulsing, how come I can hear all this? Then smell, I can smell, well I smell Ciel, his unmistakeable shampoo, but I can also smell everyone else in the mansion, weird.

Then, it's touch I can feel Ciel laying on the what I'm assuming is the bed, I feel everytime he breathes and when his breath hits my arm, I can feel subtle vibrations I couldn't before, what going on?

Finally, my vision comes as I with much effort, manage to open my eyes, and when I do, I freeze, everything is 10x better then before, I can see the dust in the air, even when it's dark, and I can see everything in the dark when I couldn't before, what's happening?!

I lift my heavy arms and wiggle my fingers, strangely, I'm not in pain. I then tilt my head to the side and feel my lips quirk when I indeed find Ciel asleep next to me. I hesitate, but finally decide to lightly brush my fingers through his hair, which feels incredibly soft.

He stirs but I continue playing with his soft locks, he opens his eyes groggily and when he sees me awake he bolts upright, "James! Why didn't you say some-"

He freezes mid sentence and frowns, "What the hell did that demon do?"

This time I frown in confusion, "What do you mean?"

He just stares a minute longer before grabbing my arms and gently tugging me up, "I'll show you."

He slowly leads me towards the mirror, and I gasp when I see my reflection. I have dark red eyes with cat like slits for pupils. My hair has also grown a little longer and instead of a soft brown it's a dark black.

I fall to my knees, what happened to me? He hesitantly sits down next to me, "Kitten? Are you alright?"

I don't even know how to answer that question myself. I see him looking at me in the mirror and I meet his eyes, "Ciel, how long have I been out?"

He sighs before running a hand through his hair, he looks at me quizzically, "Two months."

I stiffen, that long?! Though he chuckles, "We are actually leaving, and I was hoping you'd wake up so you didn't freak out when you awoke somewhere foreign."

I frown, "Why are we leaving?"

He closes his eyes and when he opens the again I gasp, his eyes are just like mine. "What happened in the mere two months I was out?"

He chuckles, "A lot trust me."

He frowns at me in slight anger, then also pounces on me, holding my hands above my head, "Do not scare me like that again or run away, you may not be able to walk away safely if that does happen."

I stare into his eyes and see nothing but seriousness, I nod and he smirks, "Also, Kitten."

I go to reply when his lips are firmly pressed to mine. My eyes widen, but for some reason I can't push him away, I don't want to. My eyes slowly close as  I move with him. He bites my lip and I open my mouth without a second thought and his tongue slips in, I moan.

He pulls back and smirks, "Sebastian should be done with the carriages, lets go, we have quite a trip ahead of us."

I lay their for a few minutes, even after Ciel leaves the room. Meyrin soon comes in and gasps, rushing over to me and kneeling down, "James, sir! Are you alright?! Yes?!"

I shake my head and sit up, sending Meyrin a small smile, "I'm fine Meyrin."

She giggles, "It's nice to see you're finally awake, yes it is."

I chuckle and nod before standing up and stretching my sore muscles. It's now that I notice I am thinner, but in a good way, and my curves seem more... defined. Which I'm not to happy about, it makes me look really girly. Meyrin leaves quietly and I soon follow.

When I step out of the mansion, Sebastian immediately greets me, and if I'm not wrong, he looked, excited? "My, my, Kitten, it's been quite a while, you look... different."

I glare at him, and he only smirks in response, "Let's go, young master is waiting."

I nod and he leads the way. Once I'm seated in the carriage I wave out the window to Meyrin, Finny, Bard, and Tanaka. They all wave back and soon we're off, I turn to Ciel, "Where are we going?"

He smirks, "It's a surprise."
