Ch.1: The dumbest Car bandits
"Bad Boys, Bad Boys What you gonna do?
What you gonna do when they come for you?"
-Cops
I need my money"
"Jaayyy, baby you know we'll have your money"
"No, I want my money now"
"Well, you see we don't have it right now"
"That too bad for you, boys" he whistled
"Wait, wait Jay we can have it plus interest by tomorrow night 7:00"
We all watched hopefully as Jay pondered over it.
"Ok, you have until 7 o'clock tomorrow night. If you don't have it then"
He ran his finger across his throat as a threat
I couldn't help, but shiver in fear knowing the seriousness behind his threat
We all stood and quickly made our way to the door
"We're in deep shit now" I whispered to Kyle
"I know riiight" He responded in his "surfer boy" laid back tone
I wanted to strangle them both, for getting me into this mess
This was supposed to be a job just to get some extra money
As a college student, dependent on my parents money and what little money I make during the summer
I was obligated to accept any offer of making money, but I never thought my two best friends were
dumb enough to make a drug deal! Then, after they make the drug deal we were supposed to deliver
the money and get our cut. Instead, the guy that picked up the drugs robbed us and therefore we were
left penny less.
Our only possession, the one thing that I almost wish somebody would've stole they left
Our beat up, rusty, old yugo.
Two car door, that squeak when you open them
And manual windows, that rarely work [I swear they have a mind of their own]
So we walked to our beat up old car and jumped in
Rob was driving
Joey was operating the radio
And me I was having an aneurism in the backseat
"Chill out" Rob said as he tried to crank the car on
The car spurted and gurgled, but refused to start
"How The Hell Do You Expect Me To Chill Out?!"
"Just breathe man, it's easy in and out, in and out" Joey said
I looked at them both incrediously "Do you two realize we almost got killed?"
"Well, yeah, but it's all good I have a plan"
"Oh yeah, really? How about you tell me genius?"
"Uhh, well I'm still working on it and you can't rush perfection"
"Well you sure as hell better rush something we have less than 24 hours!" I screamed
I felt my vain throbbing in my neck and my breathing hitched
