"Alexandra, time to come down stairs." My mother said, that's what I called her, but she never loved me. When I didn't move she grabbed me by the hair, "I said, it's time to come downstairs," she said through gritted teeth, dragging me by my hair as I screamed out of pain. When she got to the top of the stairs, she grabbed me by shoulder and shoved me down them. As I hit the steps I asked myself, 'did I upset mommy?' I was only 6, and they were killing me.

I woke up on the metal table they had in the basement, just for me. "Hello honey," dad said when he noticed me awake on the cold spotless metal. "What do you want to do today?" He asked, everytime he asked, he actually meant 'what will I use to hurt you today?'
I tried to move, but I was strapped down, "w-whatever y-you w-want to d-do d-daddy." I stuttered through tears. If I didn't say that he would make it ten time worse.
I looked at him, he sighed and turned around to face me, holding a dulled bloody knife. "Okay, Alexandra, let's play daddy's favorite game...the quite game, where I cut you and you try not to make a noise." I hated this game...but when you're young you think that every family does this to their kids...so I went along with it. I closed my eyes, only to hear, "okay honey, let's begin." He stood up from his chair and walked over to me. Then he took his knife, lightly going down my right eye, then he pushed a bit harder, then I felt it...the blade puncturing through the skin, I couldn't hold it in anymore...I screamed. Then he punched me in the face, hard, knocking me out.

"Alex...Alex...Alex? Can you hear me?" I heard her say. She sounded like an angel, then I saw her, her Raven black hair, her white skin, her black wings and her eyes...her blood red eyes.
"Who are you?" I asked, my little voice, so soft that I could barely hear it.
"I am Logi Hale," she knelt down, "I'm here to comfort and save you," she said but little did I know, she was there to kill me. She held her hand out to me, "take my hand and I will save you and be your friend forever." She knew how to win over a six year old girl.

I touched her hand and I immediately woke up in my room. I felt nothing, no pain, not even the cut on my eye. I walked to the bathroom, looking at myself I had a healed scar on my right and left eye, I thought nothing of it. Then I saw her, she was walking with me, like a shadow. "Hello Logi," I said with a smile, that's when I noticed, she looked nothing like the angel I saw in my dream. She didn't have her wings, she hair wasn't straight and perfect and she had...horns. "Why do you have horns?" I asked.
"Well, darling, that's because I'm a demon...I've been fuzed to you since day one, now that you touched me, you can see me, hear me and, you can die with me." She said, putting a toothpick in her mouth.
"But you said you'd save me." I said, stepping backwards, towards the stairs.
"I did, but I am a demon, I lied." She moved closer to me, then said, "now die." Then shoved me down the stairs, landing back first on the floor.
And I passed out on impact.
