DIPPER POV
It has been a year since that long ride home from Oregon to California. Finally was time to see my uncles and friends. Mabel and I had never been more excited in our lives. Not many things had changed about us while we were gone. Most of the world never heard about the phenomenons that occurred during the last week of the summer. Which isn't surprising considering we stopped it from spreading.
The bus stopped. It was finally time. I wasn't sure what to expect. Mabel and I stepped off of the bus. We faced the woods and saw no one.
"Dipper?" I heard a familiar voice from behind me. Mabel turned around. Mabel screamed and ran towards our Uncles, Sues and Wendy. I followed behind her smiling.
We all had a group hug. It was truly amazing seeing them all in one place.
"Hey, you grew" wendy said looking down at me. It was true I was now a few inches taller then Mabel. But still short. She was still wearing the hat from when we swapped the last day. I hugged her tightly. It felt great to be reunited.
"Still pretty." GrunkleStan said looking at Mabel. It was so odd for him to be so nice but I guess I could understand he hadn't seen us for so long. I said my hellos to sues and my uncles. Stan and Ford had been off adventuring all year but came back just for the summer, for us.
The others and I walked to the mystery shack. Mabel and I would stay in our usual attic room. Sues now owned the mystery shack and Melody had moved in with him. I guess Stan and Ford would get separate beds in the spare room.
Now it was time to go see the town folk. Mabel and I ran outside and to the town. Mabel saw Candy and Grenda. They hugged. I was happy to see her happy. I said hi to them both then continued to walk around saying hi to everyone even Gidieon. Weird right.
I started to walk back to the mystery shack. Suddenly I saw big blonde hair that stood out from everyone else. I couldn't believe it. Pacifica. But she was different. She was wearing more of her age clothing, she was wearing her hair natural and which was a little wavy, and she had way less makeup on. She looked kinda good. I stood there for a second looking at her from behind. Pacifica then turned around.
"Dipper!" She said and smiling. She ran to me and hugged me.
"You have no idea how boring it's been with ought you guys around" Pacifica continued smiling.
I just stood there. She was so different it didn't even feel like her. She has some kind of vibe going on. A good one.
