Beauty and the Beast
I am dead, not living “Happily Ever After” in a castle married to prince charming. I am purely dead, buried in the ground decaying to worms, only my soul roaming the Earth searching for the Beast that killed me. Literally I was killed by a gruesome, ugly, hairy beast thinking I could get us out. Us, my father and I. I was wrong. I am know the dead, spirit Beauty. This is how the actual story goes…
I live in a village with my father who is an inventor. Or should I say was. I spent most of the time in the library and had this bad boy Gaston on my heels. He is basically the bad guy in the story and in real life. That was the only detail they got right. The beast was getting hungry, bored with being stuck up in that castle so he decided to come out and get his hands on a nice human. A nice human for his next meal.

Grrrrrr…. I am the beast and now you people have gotten me cornered in my own castle. Do you know how long I’ve lived? How many lifetimes I’ve lived through? How many “innocent” lives taken? Well there is one girl who was technically. After all I lured her into the trap.

He tooked him from his workshop in the basement. His old dusty and rusty workshop that has no room to stand. My father, my daddy, was working late and I was in my bed book in hand. I heard a muffled pained scream, and lots of banging around. Then silence.
I started to yell for him, “Father! Father! Are you alright? Do you need help?” I heard more banging and then a scream. A scream of bloody murder but there was something in that scream. In that scream I heard, “ BEAUTY!!!!!”
I ran as fast as my legs would carry me. I grabbed my robe and slippers rushing out the door. Then directly down the stairs. “Father?” I cried. “Father? Please answer me. Father?” He was nowhere to be seen. I started sobbing. Not the lady like sobs but the big, leaving-you-breathless sobs. Just then I caught something fluttering by the window. It was a ransom note. One to get my father back. Except there was one thing missing from it, money, and one thing added, me!

Now here she is knocking on my ginormous front doors. I let her come in. She calls for anyone and says she is here in replacement of her father. Petty girl. She should have known better to come alone but then again I could now truly see how naive she was.
I make racket where her father’s cell is. He is in a jail one. She runs and then finds him on the floor. Most of him is still there but it is hard to tell since he is just a bloody pulp on the floor. Then I make my move and kill her after all it’s already too late. I am stuck like this beast. This thing.

I hear a racket down a hall. I start to freak out looking for a place to hide, to cower. I duck behind the grand staircase. When I peep out nobody is coming so I bolt down the hallway. I follow the grimy stone floor of the hallway. It led me to a dungeon looking place. I scan the rusted cells and find nothing but a heap on the floor. At first glance I ignored it looking for my father. Only then to realize it is my father mangled, covered in blood and cold to the touch. I start to sob aloud at his death and then wander what will happen to me. He was killed as soon as he got there. Then I found out.
‘To bad the spell is too late to be broken,’ says the deep voice of the monster. I spin around to confront the one who so coldly killed my father. I only got a glance before I too crumpled to the floor.
