"Introduce yourself"
"Ok, My name is Dodie Smith and I'm 16, currently attending East High and this will be my first job if I'm excepted."
"Ok."

I Dodie Smith have to try with all my might, not to shit right here because PUBLIX just became my worst nightmare. Of course like any other person trying for a job, I started to doubt myself, all I can remember is my mum telling me to just smile because they like positive people. The awkward silence grew bigger. "You can leave now." I nodded at the man and walked out. Once I got out took in deep breaths and stopped to the side.

After a few minutes I rushed to my apartment and opened up the bottle of Coke I bought as a celebration of not dying during the interview. I turn on my vinyl and play some of the greatest Green Day songs of all time.

After a while my phone buzzed signaling someone was calling me, I jumped.
            "Hello?"
"Hi we wanted to let you know you made then job and we look forward to seeing you in an hour for you're first shift, just go to aisle 3 and one of our clients Luke should be there. Have fun!"
          "Thank you!"

(1 hour later)
I look around the new environment and take in the sweet aroma of cookies and cakes. I walk over to the cash registers and look for aisle 3.... hmmm 10...9..3! I walk over to see a freakishly tall blonde playing with the wrapping bag to the side. I didn't know how to approach Luke I think it was, so I just took a deep breath. "Hi, I'm new here are you Luke?"
He turns to me with his eyebrows knitted together "yes, who's asking?" I look around wondering if I was in the right place or there was a different Luke. "Um, well someone sent me here saying you were gonna help me out on my first day and set me up." He sighed. "Of course only Lauren would put me with the newbie" he looks at me annoyed I just smile awkwardly. He chuckled "Lauren's our manger for the cash register section" I nod turning a tint of pink. He starts walking, which I guess means I follow.

Later on he sets me up with my uniform and instructions, today I was helping him bag groceries. I laughed at a thought. "So I guess I'm helping you with groceries?" He sighed. " I guess so."
