"So, how do you like the city?" Sarah, Maya's sister said.
"Fine I guess" Maya said looking around. "So where's my room?" Maya asked.
"There" Sarah pointed at a room down the hall.
"It gets pretty boring around here. But the roof is pretty nice" Sarah added.
"The roof?" Maya said.
"Yeah you can see all the beautiful lights of new york and the Brooklyn Bridge" She said picking up her car keys.
"Where are you going?" Maya asked.
"I have to go to work" Sarah said. "But ill be back before 12am. Here are the keys if you decide to go on the roof" Sarah said before leaving.
After watching tv for an hour Maya decided to go check the roof out.
Sarah was right it was beautiful. The lights shined bright and the bridge was so close to their apartment. It was kind of nice.
She walked closer to the edge and looked down. She stood there looking at the city until something interrupted her thoughts.
"Hey! What are you doing up here? This is MY private spot."
