My Best Friend... Kim TaeHyung

Hi guys, this is my first fan fiction, so please... no unnecessary hate, thanks!!! This whole thing will probably be quite short so each part will be short too, I might do another if this one goes well. Sorry for any spelling errors!

RING! RING! RING!

I woke up, startled. After a few moments my eyes adjusted to the light. I saw my class of 27 packing up their bags and pencil cases. They all slowly left the room, except one, by best friend (and also they guy I have a crush on)... Kin TaeHyung.

TaeHyung: "hey Y/N, could you meet me behind the sports hall after school, I, I... I need to talk to you about something..."

Y/N: "Sure Tae, I'll be there as soon as possible. But first, another boring maths lesson"

TaeHyung: "Aww poor you, I've got my dance performance."I CANT WAIT!"

Y/N: "Ugh lucky! I know you'll do well... you always do"

TaeHyung: "Thanks Y/N, don't forget to meet me"

Y/N: "How could I forget about you?"

With that he left the classroom, I packed up my stuff and walked to my maths classroom. On the way there I started to think about what Tae said. "Could you meet me outside the sports hall", "I need to talk to you about something". The way he said it made me worried, but somehow excited at the same time.

It almost sounded like one of those fan fictions where the guy that you like confesses his feelings to you. But this is real life, nothing like that would happen... especially to me.

After a long hour of algebra the school bell rang. Finally, it's the end of the day. Which means it's also time to hear what TaeHyung wants to say to me.

I pack up my stuff and start walking towards the sports hall.

???: "Y/N!!!"

I turn around to see my other best friend, Lisa.

Lisa: "Y/N, where are you going? The school gates are this way"

Y/N: "Sorry, I can't walk home with you today. TaeHyung wants to talk to me"

Lisa: "what about?"

Y/N: "I'm not sure but it sounded important"

Lisa: "do you think he's going to confess to you? Like one of those stories, and you'll live happily ever after together?!"

Y/N: "haha, no! I don't know what goes through your head sometimes"

I said this to hide the fact that I'd had though the same an hour ago.

Lisa: "hey, I'm just a positive thinker, that's all."

Y/N: "hhmm...sure you are "

Lisa: "yes I am, now go and talk to Tae. I'll walk home with Jennie today"

Y/N: "ok thanks for understanding Lisa"

Lisa: "no problem, now go!"

We hugged and left. I feel bad for ditching Lisa but I'm glad she wasn't upset about it. I continued to walk towards the sports hall, it felt like so far away but it's only a two minute walk.

I finally reached the sports hall and headed behind it. I saw TaeHyung's chestnut brown hair and walked towards him, my hands were sweaty. Why am I so nervous to talk to him today?

Y/N: "Tae!"

Tae turned around and smiled, but with a look of dread on his face. This worried me more than ever.

Tae: "Y/N, hiya"

Y/N: "hi TaeTae, are you ok? What's up?"

Tae: "oh, umm... I've... umm"

Y/N: "you've?"

Tae: "I'm not sure how to say this but... umm"

Y/N: "you can tell me anything, I won't get annoyed if it's something bad"

Tae: "well, umm"

Y\N: "you?"

Tae: "I... I like you"

Y/N: "you... what?!"

I'm so happy, but also so confused.

Tae: "I've like for ages now. In fact, I've liked you ever since I met you"

I stood there, silent, not knowing what to say. Tears welling up in my eyes as my vision blurred.

Tae: "Y/N? Are you ok?... Are you mad? Say something please!"

A tear fell down onto my cheek. I could feel the warmth tickling as it slowly fell.

Tae: "Y/N?"

I wiped the tear with the sleeve of my school blazer.

I opened my mouth to a speak but no sound came out. As another tear fell, I turned away and started to run.

Y/N: "I'm sorry"

I ran as fast as I could, out of the school gates. Not caring if people saw me cry. I just wanted to get home and think about it all. Why didn't he tell me sooner? Why didn't I tell him about how I feel? And, why am I so upset?...
