a/n: hey! im the other person writing this book with @wtfmurk . my personal acc is @EmotionalBandTrash . we have another collab book on my main acc is you wanna read it, it's pretty cool. we got the idea to do a joshler fan fiction based on the movie nerve which IS LITERALLY MY FUCKING MOVIE I SWEAR

tyler's pov

"hey bren we need to go this diner, we have 15 minutes." my first dare i got was for me to go to a local diner in 15 minutes. i called brendon to take me since he is my best friend.

"what is this about ty?"

"i signed up for nerve i don't have much time." i walked out the double doors to my building, seeing brendon's parked car in front of me.

"you signed up for nerve? are you crazy?" i got into the passenger seat, while brendon started up the car making our way to the diner.

"is this about debby?"

"no bren it's not, just sometimes you need to take risks you know?"

5 minutes later~

brendon and i were at the diner, while the game was making up my dare. i heard the ping of my phone and looked down at the screen.

"kiss a stranger for 5 seconds?"

"ty, i will give you a hundred dollars. you don't have to do this."

"no, i'm going to. just have to find the right stranger." i swiped accept on my screen and began to walk around the diner.

i looked at the first person i saw.

"nope she has a boyfriend."

"just kiss that guy and let's go." the guy sitting at the booth was obviously not my type.

"ok, im gonna kiss that guy. im gonna kiss that guy." the guy sitting in the booth stood up and walked away, showing me someone else sitting behind him.

"what about him? he reads." i looked over at brendon who was obviously annoyed with me.

"yeah, yeah don't care just do it so we can leave." i gave brendon my phone while he sat in a booth across from the one the guy was sitting at.

i slowly walked over to him, looking back at brendon. he mouthed 'just go' to me. i looked back over to the guy reading and cleared my voice.

"you know that's a really good book. one of my favorites actually." i said shyly.

he put the book down that was covering his face, which let me see his features. he was really attractive.

"please tell me they get to the lighthouse at the end."

"well um, i don't want to spoil the end for you. but uh, yeah they do. the lighthouse means something different to each of the characters, i'm ruining the book for you aren't i?"

the guy chuckled lowly, and shook his head.

"don't worry about it, i'm the one that asked." i smiled slightly and looked back at brendon. brendon held up 5 fingers indicating i had 5 seconds left to do the dare.

i looked back at the guy in front of me, i started to freak out and just kissed him. i counted in my brain 5 seconds but held the kiss longer than that. everything just felt, right. i heard brendon yell done behind me and i finally broke the kiss.
