Chapter 1: Welcome to My Life

    Hi, I'm Lucy Heartfilia, also known as "Flat 'Flila." My clothes are so baggy that no one can really notice my curves. Actually, I only wear big clothes because of my curves. As a matter of fact, I'm not flat chested, size equals D's. Anyways, I was on my way to hell. As I walk through the halls I feel glares daggering into me. "Another usual day." I walk into class and walk to my desk. I was about to sit down until someone pulled the chair away making me fall to the ground.
     I hear a familiar laugh and look up, "Natsu Dragneel." He smirks and sits down next to me. "Yup, usual day. Welcome to my life!" Let's skip my day to last period. Music class. Our teacher Mrs. Yukino had an interesting announcement. "Class! We will be having a music festival. We teachers will choose your partners after we have an audition." Everyone in the room cheer while I gasp in horror. "I can't do this project."
    "Why so tense? You already know you won't pass?" Natsu says. I glare at him and ignore his comment. "All of you will be tested tomorrow. So pick a song and practice everyone." Mrs. Yukino says. RING! "Class dismissed!" Everyone quickly leaves the class to go home. Natsu was quick and trips me with his foot and I fell to the floor. That's when I snapped, that smiling pink haird jackass is dead. I get up and punch Natsu in the face.
    Everyone looks over at us. Natsu stumbles back by the unexpected blow to the face. "What the hell Flat Filia!" "Shut up! I've had enough with you, you sorry excuse for a musician!" Everyone gasps in shock and the whispers started. That's when a white haired girl comes up to me. "What the hell is wrong with you?" she asks. Before I could answer she slaps me to the ground.
    Everyone started cheering and chanting. "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" I stood back up and slapped her back. "I'm tired of all of you pushing me around!" I yelled to everyone. "Why don't you fuck off and get a damn life!" I pick up my bag and push through the crowd to get outside. Everyone stood there in shock. "Lis, you okay?" Natsu asks. "She's dead!" Lisanna says running after me.
     I hear doors open behind me so I turn around to a punch in the face. Lisanna pushes me to the floor and starts hitting and kicking me. "This is what you get!" She kept sending hard kicks to my stomach and I started to spit out blood. "Lis, you can stop now," Natsu says. Lisanna doesn't listen and keeps hitting me. She then grabs my pigtails and drags me to the sidewalk. Everyone follow as they watch Lisanna beat me mercilessly.
        That's when I started losing consciousness. My vision got blurry and I could no longer move. I kept spitting out blood and Lisanna wouldn't stop. I felt tears but I tried to hold them back. I succeed and made the tears go away but Lisanna didn't. "Lis, quit it!" Natsu yells pulling her away from me. I just layed there, motionless. "Holy crap, did you kill her?" a guy says. Everyone starts questioning why I wasn't moving.
    I finally got the strength to slowly stand up. Everyone stared at me, Lisanna tried to escape Natsu's grasp to beat me again but he held on. I fully stood up but fell on my knees. I got up again holding onto the fence to keep balance. A girl walks towards me, "H-Hey are you going to be all right?" I look at her, "Oh, so now you wanna help? After all the beatings I've been through before you barely decide to help me? Tch, no thanks."
    She looked at me confused. "What beatings?" I looked at her and everyone else, "Lisanna has always beat me up after school with her two friends. I'm used to it..." Everyone looks over at Lisanna. "Uh, Lisanna told us YOU beat her up after school," a guy says. I laugh, "Well Lisanna is a lying whore." I look over at Natsu, "Oi, Pinky, your girlfriend has been cheating on you with Bixlow by the way." Natsu's eyes widen. I smile, "Thanks for the help, assholes." I say as I start limping down the sidewalk.
    Everyone stayed silent before heading home. I heard footsteps behind me so I turn around. Natsu. I forgot that we walk the same way home. I ignore his presence and turn back around but trip and fall. I slowly try to get up and I sit on my knees. "Ow." I look at my knee and see that its scraped. I get up holding onto something, as soon as I get up I look over at what I was grabbing and see Natsu.
    I was accidentally holding onto his arm. I let go and bow, "G-Gomen." I then continue walking. "Oi, Flat Filia." I look back at him in silence. He looks away from me, "My mom's a doctor. If ya want you can come to my house and she could deal with your wounds...." I was shocked, Natsu Dragneel, my bully, wanted to help me?! I blink, "Is this a joke? You want to humiliate me in front of your family too?" He looks at me, "O-Oi! I'm just trying to be nice! You can stay beat up all you want!" he says.
    I look down at myself. "If I call my manager and tell her why I'm late, she'll understand. I also need to write my next song for my album." Natsu walks towards me and lifts his hand. My body moves by itself and I cover myself with my arms for protection. "Woah, chill out. I'm not gonna hit you," he says. I look at him and lower my arms slowly. "Fine, only because I can't feel my legs." I start limping again and instead of going forward to my house I turn right into Natsu's neighborhood. Natsu clears his throat and I look back at him. He sighs and walks up to me and I take steps back. 
   Natsu grabs my back and kneels down to grab my legs. He picks me up and continues walking. "What are you-" "Don't judge me....just being nice, that's all," he said. I slightly smile, "Um, arigato." "No problem...." We make it to his house and he opens the door to get tackled by a little girl. "Onii Chan!" Natsu picks her up, "Wendy." I look at Wendy, she looks about 3 years old. I wave at her and she holds onto my hand. "Onee San?" she says.
    Natsu looks over at me. I quickly pull my hand away and stayed quiet looking down. Natsu looks at me, "Why do you look so scared?" I look up at him nervously, "I-I thought if you saw me playing with your sister you'd....hit me," I explain. He sighs, "I'm not." He grabs my hand and leads me inside. Natsu sets Wendy down in her play pin and takes me to his mother's room. He explains what happened and his mother urgently takes me to her room and fixes me up.
    A few hours later I finally get out of her room. She was even nice enough to let me borrow a shirt since my uniform had blood stains. Natsu looks over at me and gasps. I look at him, "W-What?" "Woah! Flat Filia isn't flat?!" I look down at my large chest and blush. I quickly cover my chest, "P-PERVERT!" Natsu laughs, "What size are you?" I blush even harder, "That's none of your business!" He laughs again, "I'm kidding." I lower my arms away from my chest and walk to the door. "Thanks." He nods and sees me out. I leave his house and head home. "What a day!"
